Of course I'm vaping away and thinking as I'm writing this. Forgive me if this post is lengthy but I'd love thoughts and feedback from experienced vapers and newbies. I googled when were ecigs invented and was a little surprised that it dates back to the 60s. From what I can surmise, it was a case of right product wrong time. Fast forward to cigarettes and the whole health aspect becoming widespread and the concern over longterm effects of cigarettes obviously vaping has blown up although I feel it should be much bigger at this point. (I'll save that for a different thread) As most of you know, the FDA is trying to regulate and tax them and they're automatically lumping them in with cigarettes and basically treating them as one in the same. I'm sure they are more accepted in different areas. Here in New York I know that this is one of those places where political agenda is a huge problem and a place where vaping is not as accepted as it is in other places. I saw an article that NY is on a top 10 worst vaping cities list. The FDA did this to themselves, and now that there is a credible and effective alternative to cigarettes all of a sudden they are scrutinizing the hell out of it and flip flopping I believe to just get their piece of the pie since it has blown up. All this nonsense just blows my mind. Anyway, I'd appreciate my fellow vapers' perspectives on this matter. There's tons of articles and back and forth going on and I'm still trying to make sense out of it. As always, thank you and vape on!!!
