I just finished sending Les the payment for my 2.1! I realy cant wait to put my hands on this thing..

I added myself to the ukvapers list last night and he sent me the payment request email this morning!!! hahaha I wasnt expecting it this quick...

I had a cracking setup going with my bog rat top cap. Problem was I kept getting e-liquid seepage through the threads and down onto the tank. Well since I have to move the wick and coil to the other hole for the standard top cap, I did just that. I have a "working" setup now, but I have not gotten one to work like it was on the other side (3 tries). Kind of weird since my coil/wicks are pretty much the same in this and other devices I use. But it not leaking now.

Did you try the raised post modification or try coiling the coils higher than usual? Here's a picture of my setup with the stock top cap, hope it helps! As you can see, the coils are higher wrapped high after the first wrap. This is a 4/5 30Kanthal warp, with a 30mm wick rolled with no hole. Fires great! Also, after switching to the stock top cap, I seem to be having less less issues with the airhole being stuck. Which is kind of a disappointment as I like the custom drip tip option.

Also, does anyone happen to have any solutions for the juice turning dark? I seem to be having failures, be it a 5/6 warp, or a 3/4 wrap, or a 30mm - 60mm wick be it a solid wick or one with a hole, or twisted coils 3/4 or 4/5 wrap.. Kind of hate getting my clear juice turn cloudy...

@whoopin, yea man I use a "high and tight" coil setup with my Orion stock cap. Have been doing that for a while. Don't get me wrong, it kicks, but when you have a setup that is running just special, you will know what I am talking about. Word to the wise... when you have that, try not to tear it down for some silly reason.

if your juice is turning dark there must be a short somewhere.
I had noticed the positive post has gotten really hot and had discolored marks around it which was from something shorting out.

I need a new FQ Tank, Purchased some Siam tanks and sanded them down to the right size but had some juice crack the tanks. Anyone know where I can get the right size already cut down? Or anyone willing to sellme an xtra? I miss my Orion and its only been a day

Bedazzle or ibtanked you will have to figure out what length your tank is so your air hole will line up

What kind of sand paper y'all using?

I used some 400 wet sand paper...figured eights on it for a bit..check often
I took the orings out so I could just slide the tank on and screw down the top.
took me about 20 min to get it where I wanted it

Just got back from a trip, now it's catch up time

@ 'Whoppin': We found heat is the main (not only) culprit w/ the juice turning dark, so yeah, it could be a short. Chain vaping can also lead to that among other factors.

Hi i just bought a orion v2.1. Can someone tell me whats the difference btw v1 and v2.1? They look so similar and my vapor production is not really impressive... From what i have seen on the reviews in youtube. Any help? thanks alot

V1 has an mechanical bottem button...v2 has electric sitd button v2.1 is same as v2 but button is recessed

The orion 2.1 is a great devixe and your shouldnt have poor performance. What gauge wire are you using? how many wraps? Do you have any shorts? All of these would affect performance

Hi i am using the 32 kanthal wire and have about 4-5 wraps. How do i know if there is a short?

Bro, try and do a raised post modification; if you notice the hole is quite high up on the top cap you can tell there's a short if your wire isn't glowing red all together when doing a dry burn, or if there's an obvious spot that glows red like the sun, or if one of your wire is glowing more red compared to the other wires.

When I do a normal wrap for my Orion, with the coils evenly distributed over the entire wick, I notice the flavour and vapor prod isn't huge, but when I coil it high up it is hitting like a boss! Hope this helps!


On a side note, I realized that the darken of juice could be due to the few factors other than the shorts. First, I tilt my Orion a lot even though it wicks really fast, which causes a lot of frothing on the wick and burning of juice, and the burnt juice just flows back down. Secondly, if what Turbo said about Chain vapign is true, then I am guilty of it lol. I can chain vape tll my top cap heats up really hard.

Bro sorry for noob question but what do you mean try to do a raise modification? Should i lessen the wrap from 4-5 to 3? Would that help? And yes it seems to heat up after some long vape...
