Bro, try and do a raised post modification; if you notice the hole is quite high up on the top cap

you can tell there's a short if your wire isn't glowing red all together when doing a dry burn, or if there's an obvious spot that glows red like the sun, or if one of your wire is glowing more red compared to the other wires.
When I do a normal wrap for my Orion, with the coils evenly distributed over the entire wick, I notice the flavour and vapor prod isn't huge, but when I coil it high up it is hitting like a boss! Hope this helps!
On a side note, I realized that the darken of juice could be due to the few factors other than the shorts. First, I tilt my Orion a lot even though it wicks really fast, which causes a lot of frothing on the wick and burning of juice, and the burnt juice just flows back down. Secondly, if what Turbo said about Chain vapign is true, then I am guilty of it lol. I can chain vape tll my top cap heats up really hard.
