I think my switch is finally starting to go. It is acting up intermittently. Sometimes requiring a very hard press. I replaced the coil and the issue continues. I've had a backup switch on standby for some time now.

time to take it apart and see if it leaked. If so, Iso alcohol bath, dry good and try again, good luck!

Yup, that will be first of course! I'll try to salvage anything I can. Haven't had any juice on any of batteries and I can't see any juice at all in the tube or around the switch. So I'm thinking it didn't leak. But we will see tonight!

Emonty, have you had the chance to try a Juggernaut hybrid?

Hey man, thanks for the input!

Hellfire Mini with the 2.5mm wick hole is the best "flavor" atomizer IMHO. Just got a Foggatti mini and it is performing very good also!
Still the Orion is numero uno in the flavor department.

waiting for the Hydra, Wand and an AviSS, have high hopes for those.

Also the Chalice I am using for dripping is a great little unit.

concerning batties: use AW or the Panasonic 18650 IMR's, both are very good.

everyone seems to have a great set up with no hot spots but for me i have tried to many times to rewick and re-coil and i have only managed to get it right once of all the tries... and that was also up to half a tank and i started to have hotspots again. when i make the coil using the peter k method, it glows evenly and nicely so i'm sure i am doing it right. but once i slot the wick in, it starts to have hotspots at the top and does not go away no matter how i shift it, press it, pull it whatever there is to try... What could be the problem? I have rolled the wick and burn it quite a number of times... am about to give up on it soon

Reads anywhere from 1.1-1.6 after i subtract 0.8 from my MM.i'm also wasteing so much juice while trying to get hot spot free... out of a 30ml bottle, i went thru half of it and never really got one good vape out of it...

1.1 -1.6 is a big range. It should be stable, try to get around 1.4 ohm for starters without hotspots, breaking it in.

I meant everytime i try to re-coil, i gets a ohm reading between those range. To get at 1.4 ohm using a 30 gauge, how many wraps would it take? And also what does breaking in really mean? And getting it to work without a hotspot is my biggest problem now..the one time i got it to work right ... it was the best flavor, TH . Vapor is good even if there's hotspot but no flavor. Only burnt taste

ok, I understand. 99% of the problems you or others are having is related to oxidizing your wick. Also make sure the top coil is very close to the center post and not strangling the wick. sorry man it can be a pain, but you had victory, sure you will find it again!

don't have the coil bite into the wick, it will mess up the wick and will create shorts...

Efest IMR 18350 are good as well!

Some people love them, some people hate them. Who knows haha! It's not like its going to destroy my device so I'll probably pick one up for .....s and giggles and do a comparison.

Orion 2.1, 69 Mod with Cobra Atty, 28ga Kanthal, 5/6 wrap.

Breaking in is like marinating it...getting it good and ready...the more you use it, it will begin to build up even more oxidation between the coil and mesh, resulting in even less hotspots, and an all around better vape...that's why some people use the rolling paper method, it's like an instant thick buildup between coil and wick.
