hey guys, just wondering whether anyone has had experience with juice leaking down the tank? I mean it leaks in between the top cap and the tank, and it seaps down the tank...

I did early on when I was using the o-ring to align the wick and wick hole. But I reseated it and all was good. It was the vapor condensation getting around and down.

hi i had the same problem, and found that the top oring on the tank was smaller, i replaced it with a bigger oring(same size as the below and that helped) ;)

Happened to me also, if its the same as my little problem it was condensation. What fixed it for me was releasing the button as I continued to draw. This lessened the condensation in the chamber and stopped the leaking down on the tank. Pretty much just release the button a few seconds earlier and continue to draw. Take a little getting used to since you (like I was) are used to releasing the button at the end of your hit instead of before.

Thanks all for the tips; I figured it was the condensation that caused it. But, it could also be due to the fact that the tank is not sanded down and sitting completely flushed on the top-cap, which allows for condensation to escape.

I'll play around with it, and hope I can find some other solution compared to placing an o-ring on the top of the tank that doesn't really solve anything... I guess that's the problem with screw top-caps and the sanding-down-of-tanks Orion

hey guys, just wondering whats the difference between Orion V2 vs 2.1? I still not find the changelog.. if i get good price for V2 should i go for it? or should i save a bit for V2.1?

If memory serves me correct, the biggest difference is that V2 had a non recessed button and polished finish.

Has anyone put ceramic wicks in their orion? I've got some coming from DV and am curious as to what gauge kanthal to use. DV recommends 34 with the ceramic wicks.

Also new orion v2.1 owner. I picked it up from nilbog on the classies a month or so ago. Loving it!

I actually have tried cermaic wicks in an orion. the wicking in an orion is excellent, so I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. i'd stick with higher gauge though like you mentioned 34 or 32, in my experience anything lower won't wick fast enough to keep up...especially with a low ohm setup. I'd shoot for 1.3-1.5 ohms :) Glad you're liking the Orion!
