So are you saying that the listing on the 310 site was like a "presale"? I hope not, if that was the case it should have stated clearly.

Ken

I have no idea, if you did order from them let us know when they ship it. I would love to hear the service over there has gotten better.

I just ordered from 510 yesterday (the email announcement) and today got the tracking number and shipping notice. I've never bought from them before, and I was worried about it when I read those comments above. But in a few days I'll be vaping my first Orion, I'm excited.
I am sure you meant 310Vapors. Good for you! Glad to see they actually have them in stock. I hope they do a better packing/shipping method then they did with the Hellfire iHybrid I bought through them.

Hope you enjoy the V3!!!

The bad review was Marc Puno's. He compared it to a few other setups and it was obviously lacking even relative to a provari and carto. He said in his comments that he tried other coil setups and just couldn't get it to perform. I can usually get all my devices to satisfy me, so I'll hold judgement until I get it...should be tomorrow if USPS isn't lying.

Same guy who put up the review video of the Juggernaut, cursing the horrible QAQC because the second air hole wasn't drilled all the way through. (For those of you who don't know, it was made like that intentionally)

Thanks for the tips, J.R. It sounds like we enjoy the same sort of vape so I'll try 32g 2Ω on the V3. I appreciate it! Are you loving your V3? Do you use it in 350 or 650 mode?

Yes, I am loving the V3. I use it in 650 mode @ home and switch to 490 or 350 mode out and about. Get a solid 2 tanks with the 650. a tank and half with the 490, and about 3/4 tank on a 350. I haven't tried stacked 350s yet...

The v2 and 3 parts are interchangeable. Sotong on VW made a 490 tube for the v2 and it fits and works on the v3.

Got my v3 today. #0070. Def diff from what im accustomed to nowadays. Wish the wick hole was 3mm. Not impressed with vapor production. Its good but my v2 decimates it in comparison.

I did however put my v2 stock cap on the v3 and the airhole hit dead nuts on the wick. Then I set the air control ring to the smallest setting and, WOW! Massive amounts of vapor and flavor. Just as much vapor and flavor as my v2 almost.

So. As far as it goes, im iffy on the airflow design on the v3 and the possibility that it hampering the potential of the device.

Only had it for today and im going to keep toying arund with it. Might attempt to bore the wick hole to 3mm. Got to check the tolerances more precisely first.

Sent from my Samsung S III running on SS mesh and kanthal.

Its a different beast, and will need to play with setups a little to find what works best for you. Play with the air tube Justin. It is removable, movable, replaceable, etc... Also, pay attention to were the coils are in relation to the air tube. With the V2/2.1 I always was trying to keep my coils high, but with the V3, I found tight coils in front of the air tube work well for me. I actually need to pull the spring off and switch to nuts for the center post to lower the attachment point for the center post & top coil. I haven't been messing with it because I have a really nice setup right now.

ETA: My V2.1 or Rat top caps did not line up with the wick :-( So added a 10x1mm o-ring, and it works great. It does make a difference also.
