His review was so good. Then les posted the new improvements.......glad I got another orionv2 coming. Katana has been delayd but will be here Monday. I'm gonna pass on the zenesis, I know its got people losing their minds but honestly its a genisis pv when its all said and done. And my orion in 18650 mode is still same size roughly as the mini. Don't need a bigger tank cuz I vape bout 2 mls a day.

Agree, I am getting a Z-Atty, and I may wind up with a Zen mini before its all said and done. I'm not knocking it. But generally speaking, I don't like bottom buttons at all. Figure if I get one, and don't like it I will have no trouble selling it.
I bored out my mouthpiece hole and air hole. Works pretty good.

Mine wicked up pretty good too but I contribute it mostly to beginners luck. The wicks there after have tested me to no end.

Also, I'm a pretty mechanical dude and grasp stuff fast/easy but is there any mesh finer than 400x400 out there? Ordered the #400 form the mesh co. and you know how they always throw in an extra sheet or two?/ I picked the most fine sheet assuming it had to be the 40x400.

Been using that up until yesterday when I wanted to try the other they sent, just because.

See, the issue I continually had was even a quick hot spot would actually burn a small hole into the fine (assume 400x400) mesh. I could move around etc., but every time I would re-wick I un-rolled the previous to see the condition. Always had holes all through it.

Also, I could never get my coils to *all* light up with the #400. With this other (assume #325) I was able to get all coils lite the same. Not sure which one I prefer yet as I just did this one. Just wanted to know if others had any similar experiences.

On a side note. I found the exact PTFE we need on ebay but its a big roll and it was like $30. Still looking for a small piece as I think that would make the Orion an 11 outa 10.

Stolen from UKV. Health Cabin dot com has these tubes on 30% off right now. I cracked my original tank with honeysuckle....argh! The original is 2-3mm longer than the V2. Sorry the pics didn't transfer but you can search over there. ;-) I think the black is gonna look smart.


For anyone else having problems with juice cracking their tanks on the Orion, I had bought a couple of the polypropylene tanks (meant to be juice safe) from a previous order to healthcabin, and thought that they would look good on the Orion.

All it took to make it fit was to cut it down to length, and fit a couple of slightly fatter O rings. The internal diam of the tanks is slightly larger than the Orion tank, but the external diam is exactly the same. All in all, a 5 minute job.



edit to add, it also now holds 2.5ml of juice, owing to the larger internal diameter of the tank

Bmays, the 400 is much softer/pliable. I dont have those issues with either. If your wicking too slow you could try cutting your mesh down. That's what I did.

Nylon shoulder washers from a RC hobby store are all you need after drilling wick holes to 3mm. That's what Pailpoe did on the V1.1.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the nylon but my try that. Actually I've contemplated selling it to fund the future purchases I will be making.?? Not sure yet as I would hate to be without a Genisis style atty while I was in between.

I've got the original. Only diff is the mechanical button was removed for the 1.1. Without button it's 4.25". 21mm diameter. Pretty stealthy. I sold my V2 so can't do a pic. Here is a link with some pics.

Another great review Mac. I like that you pointed out the cap difference between the V 1 & 2 and the pinch in the top of the wick.

Just got one of these bad boys in the mail today. Gotta say, loving it so far. For some reason much easier to get the coil working than on a line v2. 1st try and the coil is firing perfectly! The one i got had a modified cap, a little too much airflow for me, but gonna give it a shot for a few days. Any helpful hints you guys have for a 1st timer??

Sounds like your under control. ;-)

I think you will adjust to the open draw. If not you could try scotch tape and poke a hole. There are more permanent ways to permanently restrict the draw.
