Now the hard part. Waiting when they are in transit. I find it much easier to wait for months on a list rather than getting tracking info n stalking the usps. Thx again for the tank coop lorderos33. I haven't broken a tank yet but would feel better if I had them in house.

So I have a question for all you Orion experts.
I have an Orion v2 that I just cannot get a satisfying hit from. While the draw is very smooth, Vapor is mildly there and flavor is a lot less than my line v2. Throat hit is non existent unless I direct inhale (rather than pulling into my mouth then inhale).
I have tried 325 mesh as well as 400, about 6-7 different juices, and a multitude of coils (3/4, 4/5). Coil/s heat evenly with no shorts - lots of vapor coming off of it.
I purchased the Orion with some modifications already done - which i have heard are common. The airhole was modified to 1.5mm and mouthpiece to 4.5mm (dont know if this is what is impeding this).
Of course ive tried to get an extra cap from NoSmoker but he does not make any replacement parts. If any of you are thinking this is the issue and would be willing to trade a modded cap for a stock one, let me know.
Any help on this would be great.

You don't mention juice ratio, but IMO it doesn't really matter. This thing makes vapor off 100% pg. I get more than enough th, but I'm not a junkie there. Have you adjusted the intake off the wick to increase th?
Wish I could offer more. I get vapor almost as heavy as the modded Orion's on a pure stock one. Slow even pulls, yum!

for the juices I've tried - 100% vg, 70vg/30pg, 50/50, 100%pg
have not adjusted the intake - its lined right up with the wick...i watched a lot of his vids yes...

With those mods you have to inhale slowly. It's a very airy draw and its easy to inhale faster than the wick can produce vapor. It's like my zen mini open draw. Took me a few hours to dial it in.
If its not your wick n coil, and your airhole is aligned. Then I would het that your drawing on this like a conventional atty or carto.
Trust me....mac just left.my house. Im certified by the master now..lol now just gotta kick it with lorderos33 for my coast to coast certification.

So my first orion is on its way and was wondering how the tanks hold up? At times I can be hard on my devices and from what I read they dont come with an extra tank, does anyone sell them or what is the best way to acquire one? thanks! I cant believe there aren't more posting on the orion. it looks like an excellent PV.
You can buy the poly tube and cut your own. ID 16mm, OD 20mm. Bedazzled will be making more glass tanks too. Just search this forum.
I think the tanks are fine unless you vape a juice that is known to crack them.
I will report if the ss works out.
Congrats! Not too many in the US yet and I'm thrilled more are taking notice of the Orion. It's the most versatile hybrid I know of right now. Machined out of bar, not rolled. And machined to perfection I might add. Best bang for the buck IMO.
I will make one caution to you. Resist modding the intake & mouthpiece diameters until you vape it for a couple of weeks. Les is not offering replacement caps! You might find you are very happy with the stock set up if you give it a chance. If not then bore away. I get great Performace w/o tuning. YMMV

Have you tried blocking the holes to see if you like it better? Try scotch tape on the intake and ss mesh in the mouth piece.
If I remember right, Lorderos modded a Zenesis cap to restrict the intake using a hypodermic needle. You could search that thread or maybe he will see this.Of course swapping would be easiest .

Yea, I did see the video of Les using a different top cap with a bigger hole in it and it didnt perform nearly as well as the stock cap. but you are right usually if you give something a few days to get use to you will adapt to it. so I will take your advice and keep the stock top.
where id the best place to buy poly tubing?
I just dont want mine to bust and be waiting for a week or two till i can find it and have it shipped and cut
