What's the best way to take this apart, this doesn't go off unless you undo the battery. Switch clicks just doesn't do anything, so I need to screw the battery in and out.

Is your battery inserted with the neg. towards the top? They fire constantly when the battery is pos. to the top.
If you already knew this, just ignore

Batts are in correctly, took it apart and it oring was broken and board soaked with juice. Got it cleaned up and back together, same as before, stays on.. Reckon I'll just set it as a reminder to stay mechanical.

I've got some cracks in mine so I need to figure "something" out pretty quickly, that'd sure be an easy answer if I can just cut it down, put a brushed finish on it if need be, and not worry about what liquid's going in there..

I have a spare glass tank for you, one of Terry's, pm me if interested

Appreciate the offer bud, let me see if I can get something that will work before I put you out any..

I have found one post saying the following re: that tank..: ".617 measured with cheap calipers" which I have to assume is inches which would convert to just under 15.7mm, seems awfully close...

Siam tanks work but need cut down I believe. 'tierrataz' used a metal one earlier in this thread.
