Curses to this thread! I just ordered from Arizona Vapor Trails. Emailed them on Friday about the BOGO deal and they got back to me today. Deal is still valid.

I began following this thread a couple of months go when I got the VV Gripper and loved the form factor, but began worrying about it breaking. Do I need another mod to go with my 4 VV, VW, and mech tube mods, VV Gripper, and MVP? No. Could I pass on a deal for 2 Ovale 8's for the cost of a few sets of batteries? No. Now subscribed to this thread and in a few days will count myself among the assimilated.

I just got v8 and v8+.. On v8+ im getting f1 code. . What is that? I did take the battery out couple of times... Thanks

I don't think I've seen that code. What resistance are you using? Is it dual coil? I don't think the V8 will take under 2ohm...could be wrong about that, but seem to remember reading something like that ...maybe on the DV website.

Maybe the adapter? The vendor indicated that one of them (the one in the kit) might cause problems. Did you try both 510/eGo adapters? I noticed one is sealed and one is unsealed.

Avt told me to use adapter from v8+. Cause one that comes with the kit is no good..

Mine came in yesterday! Everything was nicely packaged, and I picked up some extra Efest 18350 button tops to have spares. The Efest batteries are a pain in the rear to put in, but the ones that were provided are pretty easy to get in.

I get F2 error codes on some devices when i hook them up.. namely the two carto tank things that came with them (not that i plan on using them) and my Ikenvape 510 Cannon atomizer (however that one's reading 1.2Ohms on my lavatube and it's supposed to be 2.5ohms, might be another issue). My Triple V, IBT tank, and all of my T3s work just fine on it though and those are my primary workhorses.

I kinda wonder if the post on the connector is a little low and just not making good contact.

You got F2 or F1?

That's really a bummer logitech80. Really sorry about the one unit. Stuff happens...but it's still a drag. I'm so glad both of mine work perfectly (took a bit for me to figure out how to turn them off and on, though) and I've gotten where I really like both, although one has more features...the shiny one is cool in it's own right. So glad I stumbled in on this deal!

Carto tanks look slick on them...and work great!

Just a mini post:

I finally got to check out what I got from AVT tonight. A fast preliminary check shows both my kit one and the matte "ohm checker" model are working fine.

I like the ohm checking option. What I do find kinda weird though is the ohm checker version displaying the voltage of the 2 batteries in series when you hit the fire button. I'm not finding a useful point to that. The old version displaying the voltage you have it set to run at - which isn't the same thing - seems more important or relevant when you hit the fire button. Whaddya think about that particular difference between the two versions?
