Hello guys. It's nice to see my request for my serial number on the first post over on the P&P serial request thread. This will be my first GG and I'm very much looking forwards to getting my hands on mine. Always wanted a repairable atomiser as well but they're generally expensive. i think we're getting the best deal with a P&p. Just want to thank Cam over from ecigz for putting me onto this forum. Still reckon I'll be buying a GGTS soon enough.

I have a newbie question again 
All Ody users here seem to use nichrome wire as the heating element, while most genesis users seem to use kanthal, could someone educate me why the difference?
I ask as I intend to buy a lot of wire in preparation for my Ody and P&P. I also have a couple of genesis apvs inbound. So wondering if I could get a commonly acceptable resistance wire for all my rebuildables? What's the best I could buy and from where?

I'm an Odysseus user and I use Kanthal a1. I think most people use what is readily available.
Did I miss something again? A month away to see the prototypem not until the orders get shipped right/ If so I have 3 mods coming my way and that's just too much.
I'm using the 0.2 mm nichrome.
For me, it gives the most optimal settings 8-10 watts.

Yes, Kanthal holds up at higher wattages much better than nichrome. Nichrome is great, and I believe it oxidizes slower than Kanthal, but if you want something to use on both silica and ss platforms, I'd suggest 32g a-1 Kanthal for 3.7v vaping. For anything higher, 34g kanthal a-1 is great, and 36g Kanthal-d is also nice for 7.4vs, though I tend to pop my coils quicker with that rather than the 34
i prefere nichrome that has more resistance per meter, so its more flexible in any volts and its better for LR situations too

I'm using 30 ga kanthal in my odysseii and will probably do so in my P&P when I get it. To get my typical 1.5 to 2.0 ohm coil I do between 5 to 8 wraps. for me, flavor is a bit more important than TH. I find that the increased surface area helps in that regard.
Ever since putting my name for a serial number I have been reading, and reading. What I have come up with is Imeo your customers love you. And you them. I have not owned a gg and the P&P will be my first. Cannot say how excited I am to finally be a gg member.
