Is it still possible to reserve a Proteus? When I ordered Penelope as soon as the preorder opened I read that as long as we have a Penelope we are guaranteed a Proteus for it. I've now read Imeo say that statement is incorrect. Am I too late??

jb and rox, 2500 penelopes are sold but only 1500 Proteus will be made in the first batch. That means that not everyone will get a Proteus. Of course people on the list will get one for sure. List is closed now, so people that are not in the list have to wait a little more
I got my Penelope a week ago from France so most probably I will not fit into the first batch of Prot...

I know, its a bit disappointing how things change. Imeo said right to me in this forum that if I have a Penelope that I will get a Proteus so I wasnt sweating it but I guess that isnt true after all. Oh well, they work great on my other devices anyways.

I had stated earlier I wasnt on the list and was looking to find out how to most likely get a Proteus. Now that I read your quote I guess you can say that I will get it "eventually" but that isnt the way I took it at the time at all. At the time and based on the context of the conversation I took it to mean that if I had a Penelope I would have no reason to worry about getting a Proteus. But Im not complaining, just disappointed.

This is a great idea for all your products. You could sell 20 times as many GGTS right now, if they were made. Maybe even 50 times as many, and it would stop people from selling them in the classifieds for $400 each.

I appreciate the help and responsiveness in the forums. You cant be held responsible for everything you say since you are juggling so many conversations with so many people. I didnt mean it as a negative toward you. I will get a Proteus eventually, possibly in the first batch if Im super lucky.

i never mind waiting knowing that eventually what i want will arrive!
