Today I got a hate email from a customer because I sent his 801 set in a ziplock bag. He called me unprofessional and said he wouldn't recommend me to anyone EVEN though he liked the product. Is packaging a big deal or would you rather have lower prices (and in my case free shipping)?

Thanks,
Kevin

I don't care....as long as it works and wasn't damaged. Hell, the first package I got from bestecig was wrapped in about 20 layers of bubble wrap and tape....that's it...no box. I was so anxious to open it, I asked the postal clerk for some scissors....lol

At first I was a little surprised by the packaging but hey....everything worked....so it didn't bother me at all. And then I just got used to it :p

just my pure .02 :) - while packaging isn't why i buy any product, personally i feel it adds to the overall affect and is definitely a plus.

why do most people go for name brands over generic given the choice- you know?

price is a big deal to me also, and i don't mind a little rough exterior to get a lower bottom line. however i think a plastic bag is a little tooo rough. in that case i think i would pay MORE to have a more professionally assembled product. it adds to my confidence in my purchase.

maybe i'm being silly and brainwashed; but delivered in a plastic bag would make me wonder how they were being previously contained, and under what conditions.

if a supplier sent a product to me like that, i'd immediately return it- i wouldn't even put it in my mouth. i would be put off.

OK, Retail Packaging vs Bulk is a Money Saver If your Not Reselling It & You Don't Need or Want A Retail Box / Retail Packaging.

If You Do Ship Bulk (plastic bag with bubble wrap, etc) You Must Provide The Buyer With Any & All Instructions, Manuals, etc with the order.

Further & Very Important is the Seller Must Package The Product So It Does Not Get Damaged By The Shipper. ie, Bubble, Wrap, Foam, Packing Peanuts, etc. Shipping Damage is a Daily Issue with All Carriers. And if it was Damaged & Not Packed Right, insurance Will Not Cover Damages for The Shipper , Seller or Buyer.

I don't care how they package it as long as it works when I get it. when you open bestecigs you best have a knife or sizzors. They make sure their stuff don't get damages in transit.

I have got packages from everyone of the carriers that look like thay have been run over by a truck at different times and from differnt companys. I had one order for hot tub stuff that Fedx had to send back and pay to replace all the stuff.

Lu,

Yes, Beci Ships His Stuff Like a Giant Bubble Wrap Football!

Almost Guaranteed Minimum Damage & No Juice Leakage! LOL!!!!

But he is smart, cuz shippers just throw everything around and damage claims are very high & expensive.

Keep Vapin"

If you were a customs officer and you look a package so hard to open, what would be your thoughts?

Mine would be: "Ohhhh come on!! I'm not going to open that thing" ;)
