Imeo-I have one black stain on my Penelope, on the base.
It doesn't come off with just a microfibre cloth rubbing.
With what polish can I try to remove it or should I just ask seller for the new base

Hey Beco,

Is it OK to use car polish to clean this stain?

Whatever you use to polish with, just be sure to thoroughly clean any residue from the polish off before using it again! Some dark spots that are a result of the machining process occur but they can be polished off easily. My very first Stainless GGTS had a small dark spot on the extension tube but having worked with stainless in firearms for many years, it didn't take but a jiffy with Flitz to get it right off.

Some of our polishing masters like dspin, Para, CaptSteve and others have provided out users with many effective cleaning/polishing methods. It is also great to see the Cleaning thread that Huffelpuff has made. Here is a link to it although the links Ariel gave you more directly address the polishing situation for you: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/gg/314080-new-gg-members-cleaning-maintenance-thread.html

Beco I second everything Major replied to your post. If you're not in the US and haven't got access to Flitz you can use any stainless steel polish to remove those stains. Just make sure it's either a fine/light paste or liquid. Make sure it's not abrasive.

Is it possible to put o ring inside the ceramic like in Odysseus?
When I'm making new setup ceramic always gets unscrewed when I'm taking rebuildable part out of the base.
I think with o ring inside the ceramic this thing would not happen.
Would the o ring from Odysseus fit into ceramic of Penelope???
Also what should I do to make the draw on Stealth more tight and not so airy when using Penelope or Odysseus?

I. Love. Penelope.!

Finally, today I was able to fire it up and I'm in a vape heaven with 2 of them going :)

…and it also looks like I will need to now lower my nic strength cause my usual 12 is now seem too strong with Penelope :p

Thank you Imeo!

Congratulations!!! :toast:

I also had this experience - with Penelope former ok nic seems to high! I am also to go down from 12 to 9 mg... :)

Yesterday I built my first dual coil with three wicks. Succeded only with the second version as the first ended up with 0.9 ohms and my ProVari cannot put out low enough voltage for that. :(

The second was 1.8 which is just great! Tons of vaper, tons of throat hit, great taste!

I was shocked when I arrived home this afternoon to find a penelope sitting in my mailbox! I thought I read somewhere that shipment had been delayed a week. Maybe I dreamed that up or something, lol. I never received a shipping notice so it was a total surprise when I discovered it. :)

I managed to build my very first coil ever. It was a little more confusing than I thought, but that was because I was making it more difficult than I should. Once I got it figured out, it seemed simple. My first coil measures 1.5 ohms. I'm used to using 2.8-3.0 cartos so I'm going to have to do a little more experimenting to get my coils at my preferred resistance. So far, it's vaping very nicely, especially since this was my first attempt to build a coil. I'm starting to feel confident in the fact that this is something I can do successfully!
