I have a problem with my Penelope I hope you guys can help me with...
How on earth can you stealth vape with this thing?! My juice is only 50/50 and the amount of vapor I'm getting is insane!
Just kidding of course... the plumes are terrific. More than anything, Im posting out of excitement as its been almost over 3 weeks since I picked this up from Bruce at a vape meet and between doing an awful job coiling the pre-mades that i got and getting the taste of "raw" silica when I did manage to get decent at coiling I was about to throw my hands up and catch the Staten Island Ferry and give it to bishopheals (who I'm worried may love his GGTS more than his mother ;-) ). Between Imeo's great advice to torch the wick and my decision to go for the gusto and just torch everything in sight (kanthal, wick, ceramic cup,...), well... a grown man almost cried today. it vapes as beautiful as it looks. I'm now dissapointed that i dont have two so that i can go back and forth with different flavors. Baby steps, i keep telling myself. Baby steps.
It's 2:50am. I need to go to bed. Tomorrow will be a good day of vaping, indeed. Happy vaping folks!
I am still curious about something.
I have heard people discuss opening the juice control until it floods or just before.
Is the goal to open it just before that point? I mean is that the way you measure, or do you just open it a bit?
I am loving my Penelope, but I have one question. I think I am getting vapor lock. I am running my juice control wide open, and the longer I vape the harder it is to adjust the juice control. It still works well, and I am loving the flavor and vape, just occasionally I feel the need to take off the top cap and let it unseal (with the juice control off of course and the juice really starts flowing and its amazing)
My coil is about 2.7ohms, I am running it at 5.5 on my provari. Seems like I might just need to build a lower ohm coil and get this thing hotter and I won't have this problem? Or will I just use so much juice that it won't have time to make a vacuum. Also thought of lubing the o-rings, would either of these things help
I find that closing the juice controll and opening it again usually clears this issue up for me. The TV Caramel Waffle I vape is thick stuff that gums everything up so a thinner liquid may not need this treatment but so far everything I've put on my Penelope with this juice has this issue (Stock body and clear V1 and V2 body)
Is anyone having issues using Penelope on a Provari?
