Wow cool. Penelope showed up. Wife can't wait to test it. COV delivered. But..... The ody gets 3 feet of wick and wire and Penelope only gets ONE premade wire with three feet of wick? Disappointed that you can't get a little more than one premade.

Actually you get exactly the same with ody. My ody came last week with 3 ft wick and 1 pre made wire.

I also got one with a broken ceramic... I am hoping the guys at COV will help out!

All places I've seen reviews show them unpackaging 3 ft. And stating thys what comes with it. That's why I mentioned that.

For those that are getting them, save the UNwicking and deal with potential soap taste before you vape up. Other than that smooth vaping.

Some applicable ones here:

After every refilling we try to close the refilling cap slow so Penelope will not get overflooded.

Like Odysseus, if you feel even a small gurgling, please close the liquid control until the liquid gets vaped. Dont let gurgling go too big because it will be difficult to vape proper for a long time. Also, if you feel gurgling for a long time its because liquid came inside your mod's connector. So please remove the liquid from your mod's connector and if you like you can blow air from the mouthpiece of the Penelope while Penelope is out of your mod. If you have a small gurgling and you want to get rid of it quickly then put upsidedown your mod and the excess liquid will absorbed by the wick

Better to close the liquid control if you plan to not use Penelope for enough hours
Liquid's pressure inside Penelope is bigger than inside Ody so dont open the liquid control as much as you do on Ody to feed the wick.

I had to try it adjustable draw on GGTS first, and it was as awesome as expected, if not more.
1.2 ohms on 3.7 is really nice

The thicker wick that came with the P is awesome! Penelope is a beast! I'm not sure if its the wick that makes a difference, but Pen is kinda showing up my Odys at the moment. Also, I don't use much NR wire since the ceramic assembly is much smaller. Also, that is some impressive soldering with the premade wires.

Hey there! Glad you got yours. It looks like one wire but if you look closely its 1 wire with 3 different wires fused together. Middle of the wire is resistance. Oposite sides of middle are NR. You'll get it down for sure. Took me 3 days to get it down pat. You will too!!!!

Yeh, that wire fusion or whatever process is pretty cool, I'd like to see how it's done.

A quick question, my Penelope does not draw when i put it on my Provari. It did when on an ego batt, but the eGo Batt didnt like it, started smelling quite rudely like burnt wire. It did fire, but i suspect the resstance was too high for the batt.
At any rate is there a workaround for this? I have 2 Odysseus 2's and they rock! My search is over ! I never have had anything perform like these! I only wish I had been able to get these much sooner, getting rid of most of my lesser stuff. I love the GG line!

It needs to get air via the center post. An extension would work..not sure if the Provari has an adjustable center pin.

So Imeo, I originally tried to get a Penelope from COV the night the pre-sale started and got frustrated with the site getting bashed to a crawl. It made it very frustrating & since I have have plenty of things to vape, I just gave up. I have noticed Bruce put up another pre-order for Penelope, and now that the rush is over, I went ahead and place my order. It is very nice to see enough made to have another pre-order so quickly. I hope that Proteus (sp?) will also be easily available so that I can manage to get one. I never got on the serial number list, mostly because that is not important to me, and because if I was to get a #, the one I would want was already taken

I love your work and use my GGTS everyday. I think it is hands down the best mechanical device made. I very much look fwd to trying Penelope on one of my 14500 PVs (though they are not GGs), and hopefully soon on the Proteus.
