Hey, I got my Penelope on Friday. Its a really great device, vapes nicely, warm and tasty and looks awesome with that engraving on it.
The only negative thing is that I have some marks on the engraved tube like from pliers but I will polish them away at some point of time - no way to get me and Penelope divorced again!

are those marks near engraving Manni? Maybe they are from laser. Can you please take a cloth with oil and scrab it for 10 seconds?

Viper, this was the very first I've heard from COV at all. I was quite surprised. Happy, but surprised. I had e-mailed a couple of times as well, but I just assumed that since I had a confirmation number in the site, that it was OK.

My Ody Drip mode (first GG device) looks to be at my house now (Im at work still) but includes no wick or wire. What it in world am I gonna do the next few days I just checked and the wick and wire are still in Miami. Thats as far from me possible in the USA. The good part is my Pene has shipped so Ill be drowning in GG bliss by maybe Fri or Saturday

I tried oil and a cloth for some time but the marks remain. Well, its hard to get the marks on a picture in a good way. The following pictures aren't sharp but I think you can get what I mean. The marks start slightly left from the middle of the wings and go around about 1/3 the body.

Not much of a problem anyways, I rebuild a UFS lately(had to learn that almost unused doesn't mean perfect condition but can mean that it was worn together with the keys in a pouch for half a year...) so I guess I will be able to make Penelope shine when I want. For now I am happy vaping this little ###censored###

I can try to make better, sharper pictures tomorrow - I am too tired now.

Manni if you have any problems polishing there are several of us here with bench grinders and polishing wheels who can help you out too. I can do it for you if you need pal.

The man that polish the GG series maybe sometimes miss some tubes. The other day I found 3 totally unpolished tubes inside my package. He is only a person and he polish GG by his hands, so minnor thin lines are acceptable.

Yeah, thanks a lot - really appreciated. Though I think freight costs would cost as much as 1-2 new tubes But if you ever land your plane in Duesseldorf you are invited for a beer or two!
I will try to get these marks out by hand and if I need help I will call in here for sure - thanks!
