I made slots on base to let Penelope breath on mods like provari that have flat top but a channel around the connector yankee. But Penelope doesnt really work on a mod with flat cap that doesnt have a hole somewhere to breath.

Penelope leaves only a very small amount of air on a mod like this. Its so small that you cant really vape it.

But , is there a mod like this and for what purpose?

Air will enter from any place it can. I believe that since the holes on the air ring are larger, most will enter from there. But I believe the question was does the penny take air in on a flat cap. Te answer is yes it can. And does.

I've come to think I'm missing the higher center post
On Penelope as I have in Ithaka (the old one)
I'm used to very short distance between coil and air hole,
And I liked that very much.
Imeo is there any chance to have a such for Penelope?

I dont know if it will vape ok like this Its, more experiments are needed buddy

I miss typed that. I meant the 2 air slots. I said pardial since they don't go all the way to the 510 connector.

Hey Guys,

today is not my best day !
I unscrewed my sweet new Penny v2 from my Stealth and wondered that the center post wasn´t right.
So i took a screwdriver , like in Imeo´s Viedeo about this, but the 2 pins came right out . so i broke them by screwing them onto my Stealth, poor me.
I just got her right a few days ago, she was vaping like hell and after some builds i finally got her where i needed it.
look for yourself and please make sure you don´t end up like me and her...

now i can´t vape her until the day that there will be a center post for penny 2- and with all the work on Imeo´s mind-
i don´t know...when i can take her sweet lips to mine again......

its not that people overtight them aal. Its the fact that they dont put a thin screwdriver all the way inside center post to align it.

that's the second case of broken post. Imeo you have to find a solution. Apparently they are easily broken if overtightened as well.

Imeo. These wings (screwdriver slot) does not have to be this deep does it? I would think a more solid piece all the way with a slight change.

they have to be deep to let air pass better than Penelope V1 Yankee. I made it like this for direct inhalers. But I can reduce the length buy 1mm

imeo I showed a photo of a completely flat cap. The Penelope is working fine on it. It's a little tighter but working fine. I'm not complaining. I was pointing out to someone else that it DOES work. I out two penny on this flat cap and it is taking air in.

I'm sorry. And I'll tell you why I can't buy into this. I know the screwdriver I used to go up the base with. Very thin. Long. If I had gone up any further, it would have come up the mouthpiece into her tonsils.

I will wait for parts to become available and stock up a few. And I will also seek a solution to this in another way. I don't want to have this issue monopolize the thread like my ithaka issue did.

COV is still waiting on shipment from Greece. I guess with customs and the Christmas holiday shipping is taking a little longer this time. Bruce said he will ship as soon as he gets the parts and assembles.

I can't believe that people are still drinking kool aid and think this delay is due because of holiday shipping delays. It's now three weeks since Vassilis has sent first preorder notice. Now e-smoke is selling non preorders. Not one attempt from either side disclosing the truth. COV thread gets locked.

Call me stupid but I don't understand this at all. Are we talking about the Pene V2 here???? I vape the Pene on my Caravelas. The Caravelas have no venting slots in the cap. They are flat tops. There are no holes for an atty to breathe. I also put it on the JustGG and close the AC ring shut tight so no additional air goes thru. There is no tightness and it vapes with plenty of air. No tight draw with flat top or closed AC on devices with AC.

As for the pins snapping, if it is the users fault for not using the proper tool to adjust the pin properly because it doesn't adjust properly when building it, then maybe a proper tool should be part of the sale when purchasing so that this doesn't occur and the user isn't the one being blamed for the snapping of the pin.

Jojo use an oring to block the air holes and use the Air on Just GG instead. air from center post is always better shooting up. I used to use one on Ody and iAtty slotted bases but i can't seem to find the size anymore. I don't think you will have a problem finding the right size
