why does your ribbon wire have so many wraps? i only got 3 wraps out of the 1.5 ready made from greek guru...
and i order v2 version - it is not ribbon wire and it should be i think yes?

If you orders regular pre made wires then the resistence part on them is shorter,
(For the same ohms) so it give less wraps.

I like the more wraps and the more softness of the ribbons, as
It let me wrap tight without choking the wick,
and it more easy for me to wrap them very close,touching each other.

I also like the 0.32mm kantal for more wraps at lower ohms but that one
Will be for use in the new rebuildble part of Ithaka without resistence.

For new Penelpe's.

It look like I don't like any more other drip tip then standard GG.

Same here. vaping without tip works, but is not really comfortable, a little bit too short and sharp. A standard GG mouthpiece would be perfect for me.

i second that, Imeo bring a GG mouthpiece without air control. For ithaka you made 3 mouthpieces, this one can have 3 too .

does that point also come unscrewed? or only the point of the 'top' arrow. - i'm not sure...

The top arrow unscrews. The rest stays. The mouthpiece has two pieces. That top section, and the rest.

Get yourself rubber bands, gloves, hit silicone oven mits. The 510 obviously seized. And it's happened to many of us. Patience will prevail. A shirt stint in the freezer may help too.

Someone over at UKVapers got a custom Carbon/PTFE tip made recently for the penny v2.

Not that bad of a price and u can specify the dimensions, hole size, and design if you want.

When I got my Doogle Bug stuck on a Nemesis TopCap I was well pee off.. Tried everything suggested..

[DO NOT TRY THIS]
I got it off by using a pair of needle nose pliers, wrapped some insulator tape around the needle part of the plier to stop damaging the holes. And jammed them down the fill hole & wick holes and it was a case of tightening the top cap to a tube as far as it can go the using leverage from the plier managed to free the Bug, OMG.. BUT I totally screwed up my Nemesis as the topcap is permanently stuck to the tube now.. [DO NOT TRY THIS]

Haven't tried this yet.. [TRY AT OWN RISK] But if I get another Attie stuck to another Nemesis Topcap. I'm going to use compress CO2. Turn the CO2 canister upside down and fire into the stuck part.. Liquid CO2 will quickly freeze the parts & use rubber glove and try and free [TRY AT OWN RISK]. What do you think? Has anyone tried it yet?

For some reason I've had many case of stuck Atties to Nemesis TopCaps.. Don't no why..

No need for so long a time,
After you take it out rains the lower part only (female) with hot water,
The give a quick turn,it may help you know the rest,
and I know how it is sound,but It work for me once.

Penelope base is jammed shut to nemesis top cap.... i test on nemesis to make sure it fires correctly.
but naturally it's for my justGG.... just not ready... because still polishing brass.

i didn't 'jam' it onto the base... rather gently actually... but for some reason now it's tight as funk!
how can i get it off?... any mystical secret solution folks?

Well, well.. there may be a mystical secret solution, after all... Listen, this is what you may try: Get some tape, the "white tape" usually found, mostly everywhere? ... Well, and cover both the base of Penny, and the mod's base... as in taping around them... Tape very tightly; that should give you some extra grip... Then, very firmily, try to unscrew...



Try this and you'll see what a sweet trick this is...! Trust me!

Oh, and don't forget about a no-NR-needed alternative base, as the special one for Ithaka, but for Penny! -Have you done the tests already?

not yet revolver, I didnt find the time. I am focusing on Proteus right now. But I am very pleased on how Penelope works. Its one of the best GG atomizers to my opinion. I am really proud for Ithaka and Penelope. Ithaka has more than everything and Penelope comes close

I agree bob, that was a great review. Todd said everything about its new features, he also put the features with moving letters under the screen, he mention everything we need to know. He also mention the air, and he said that it vapes ok even on a mod with flat connector. But I am wondering about something. How is it possible for a mod to have flat connector when it doesnt have air control? Maybe the mod he used had air control and I didnt see it? Maybe this mod didnt have flat connector?

is this that thin white plumbing tape?... i'll have a look for that one. thanks

Just replaced BOTH orings on the adjustable tip with 6x1.5. 5 minutes of vaping is yielding much more efficient air flow and more vapor production. This is early results of course. So now the Penelope is back to adjustable tip so I can observe.

You can toss them in freezer and let them sit in there for awhile. That's usually how I get my ss pieces apart that have stuck together.
