Just replaced BOTH orings on the adjustable tip with 6x1.5. 5 minutes of vaping is yielding much more efficient air flow and more vapor production. This is early results of course. So now the Penelope is back to adjustable tip so I can observe.

Maybe you solve us some trouble using drip tip we don't like.
This 6X1.5. 5 are different size then the one we got extra with the device?
I didn't tried it yet.

No Itshak. It should be the same size that imeo included as a spare. But there is only one of this size included. I changed one to start. And it helped but not a major improvement. I changed the second using another 6x1.5 from my collection and this is what set it back to almost.

Open drip tip is still airier. BUT now this is closer to that open tip. vape draw is great.

This does indicate to me that there was still a slight leak before changing both. One that may have been difficult to judge.

I agree bob, that was a great review. Todd said everything about its new features, he also put the features with moving letters under the screen, he mention everything we need to know. He also mention the air, and he said that it vapes ok even on a mod with flat connector. But I am wondering about something. How is it possible for a mod to have flat connector when it doesnt have air control? Maybe the mod he used had air control and I didnt see it? Maybe this mod didnt have flat connector?

If you look closely when he screws the Penelope on the mod it shows the top cap is no completely flat. There is a little juice well around the connector. So the slots in Penelope allow air to get into the well and the well allows air to the coil like normal.

Well, well.. there may be a mystical secret solution, after all... Listen, this is what you may try: Get some tape, the "white tape" usually found, mostly everywhere? ... Well, and cover both the base of Penny, and the mod's base... as in taping around them... Tape very tightly; that should give you some extra grip... Then, very firmily, try to unscrew...



Try this and you'll see what a sweet trick this is...! Trust me!

ok i tried this.... rubber/plastic plumbing tape around and around and around..... many times... then pliers.
no damage.... very happy.... thanks everyone for all the ideas. - i tried them all!!

now deciding whether to shine or not... i'm finally starting to enjoy the tarnish look...

Easy there tiger. There are alot of frustrated people trying to wait patiently, myself being one of them, and I think the occasional remark (as long as it is kept civil) is perfectly acceptable. It serves to relieve some of that frustration by reminding those that have, that there are still have-nots. I didn't get the impression that there was any malice in Tmc's comment.

So I can assume This May be standard or common drip tip size? (As I have many)
I'll change both on one and give it a try,as I liked much more
The feel and size of the include AR/ drip tip.
I don't mind it being to hard to turn,as I intent just to leave it in the upper position
Of the screw I think.

I was on the preorder and am not trying to cause a fuss here, just poked a little fun on the forum. I am all good waiting on my 2 new pennys from Bruce. There are no hard feeling here, and am sorry if you got that impression. Anyways anything worth while in life is worth waiting for.

Thank you dark for your kind words it does help to pass the time by pointing out that we are all lucky enough to have such nice quality devices, while others are less fortunate then us (quality problems, like waiting a little longer). Gotta count your blessing before you lose your cool!

i tell you what folks! now my penny v2 is all set up perfect. i am absolutely loving this device. maybe now it's my favorite atomizer for relaxing vapes.... i'm using a 1.5ohm coil which is rather high for me but i do enjoy the vape it is very satisfactory. i love the juice lock and i have adjust the airflow in the drip tip and the air flow of the justGG and now is perfect. next is going to be dual coil. naturally. hehe. Thanks imeo. it's a wonderful invention. i can vape all day long with 4mls and lock the juice for travel. it feels very solid and a beautiful creation. i am a very happy and satisfied vaper as promised!

Whoa... That was hardly a "snide comment" and it is not posts like that that "ruined the pre-order system" for everyone. I think your scolding is not warranted or very nice. He has payed for his right to post in this thread.

Ok guys,let's take a vape and accept ( not except) all as they are.
In vaper age we are not going to change someone approach,
And the real challenge is to bypass those and find the full half of the glass in any circumstances,
And there always a full glass! Because there is always empty part

Ok Guys,

I change both O rings,as Yankee did,in the MP AR and the draw become better.
With it it was more noticeable that there is a little reduce in TH and FL.
I'll say if one came to this from no GG in first time RBA it would be a big step forward for him.
But after steaming an Ithaka with the ribbon and double wick on the resistance,
It a bit to a laid back vape.

So no way around open drip tip for me.
if we had the same new AR as regular drip tip
Straight open,it would have been for the best,for those who like it.

Now the for the open draw,what I did is I needed more vapor and more flavor so,
I put 3mm silica in the channel,it a must I think with this channel.
And I double it with one more 3mm silica on the resistance only,
And I lay both on the side a bit ( in the atty ceramic chamber ) this to cover
More the hole.

One more thing is I make sure to push it good inside ceramic as I could to shorten
The distance from the hole to the coil,it a must for me.

Now it vape great!

Plums of vapors with flavor,and the draw is nice because there is a lot of vapor,
No need to reduce it.

Captain log day two,
Penelope V2 start to kick.

And one more thing I change all setups with open only the base from below,
Like Ithaka,made 3 Penelope's like that no problem.

Note: I think It kick just a little better on the stealth 510 cap.

I love the top cap,Imeo that a great one,no time to fill juice,
Exactly what I needed for the wife setup.
