I tried her Peach last night and it's very good at 10%. I added Bavarian Cream and it tastes like a sweet Peaches and Cream. I want to try it with the Sweet Cream next.

I had zero luck with the peach. Even at very small percentage it still seemed to taste very synthetic with a menthol like sensation to it. Didn't really taste much like peach and kinda made me ill. Wonder if I got a bad batch or something. Can't complain too much though. There was a mess up with the VG and Linda sent me an extra size up to make up for it. Great person to deal with.

Ordered more flavors last night. Had to get more pear. Its freaking phenomenal.

Message from Linda:

"hi!

actually, i don't have any recipes, since i don't vape myself,
but i am hoping over time that some customers will let me post theirs!

the new and stronger blueberry will go on the site tonight, i will be offering both!
it would be really really great if you could let people know that
i found out that i can't post because i am technically a vendor."

I had asked her if she had any recipes. Please send her your recipes and comments so she can post them on her site.

:)

I told her that I think that the flavors are too sweet. I'd like them less so and add my own EM or her sweetner to my taste. What do you guys think about the sweetness of the flavors?

:)

I don't think they are sweet enough...I only found the bannana, cinnanom and tabacco to be sweet...

JUST FYI...even though I really love the cinnamon red hot flavor...I was researching the MSDS Safety sheets on cinnamaldehyde and and eugenol and they are both hazardous/toxic.. It says that both can affect organs and the eugenol is toxic to the lungs..so if you are going to use this one I would suggest vaping in the mouth and not into the lungs...

What is the assumed concentration in the MSDS? The one I looked at for eugenol was 99% and at that concentration it causes respiratory tract irritation. Yet myself and others have vaped it without any issues.

While you're looking up MSDS, look up Phosphoric Acid and then read a Coke can.

There is a huge difference between the industrial handling concentrations and the tiny concentrations we are using.

I imagine if we were to vape eugenol at 99%, it would give one heck of a throat hit! (That feeling that comes from an irritant hitting mucus membranes.) And, yes, I would not be inhaling cinnamaldehyde at 80% either as I like breathing. But the Redhot flavor works just fine as it has a percentage of these two chemicals and they are further diluted when I mix.

Concentrations are everything, they really are.

Well I got a few from PA today....and so far....

Mary Jane...like vaping slightly peppered Xmas tree...very piney plus a scent I just cant put a finger on. At a low %...I used 15%...I could see where it could taste like some varieties of the original...uh..er...so I've been told.;) This one will wreak havoc on your attys as a permanent pine flavor...beware!

English Toffee...two words...Fiddle Faddle. Very light buttery toffee with a hint of popcorn. Not the deep Heath bar taste I wanted but nice....and sweet. Just need to get her to burn the sugar some to deepen the flavor.

Brown Sugar....very strange taste...sweet but strange...have to try again later maybe...metallic taste comes to mind.

Malted Milk...I think I'm vaping lactose intolerant...I get the same sweet soured milk kinda taste as all of the cheesecakes I tried. Maybe this or a component of it is the unidentified in the ET above.

Sweet Almond...definitely sweet...faint almond...not bad.

Black Walnut...very dark color, just like the coffee...sweet...candied nut like...needs a bit of that earthy bite that real BW's have.

Peanut Butter...very good, sweetish nutty flavor. Been vaping it for a month or so in my 555, I think a mix of this and Loranns will make it just right...more on that later. I might try the same with the ET too.

I wonder if Linda thinks that everyone wants all the flavors very sweet? It just seems to me they are...which is good for some flavors, but not for others.

For those of you curious about the following Aroma single molecule flavors...dont bother unless you know Exactly what to do with them...I sure dont.

Dimethyl Pyrazine 2,3...super potent stuff...nasty solvent taste by itself...pulled a couple drops into a dropper, pushed all the drops out, pulled in 10 drop of PG and mixed with the residual DP to try flavor...blek.

Trimethyl Pyrazine...musty solvent taste...blek.

This one I do use a little to buff up the Peanut Butter in my 555...but sparingly...

Acetyl Pyrazine...nutty popcorn flavor...again very potent.

So far I love her flavors. I spoke with Linda today and she really would like us to go to her website and fill out a review form on her site or call with what could be changed so she can adjust accordly.

Could you post a link? I gave her a couple of recipes and she said they were posted, but I cannot find where nor can I find this form you type about.

Thanks

Hoosier I just saw your cinnamon pear recipe!

It's in the DIY flavor section, under pear. I must get my .... in gear and write my reviews.

I forgot to add more info for you Hoosier, in the left hand menu on PA, there is a new category called Flavors in development. In that section there's a link called reviews, that's the form.

PA flavor reviews:

Black Cherry: Great strong black cherry flavor. I find it true to taste and potent. Could use on it's own.

Watermelon: Taste like watermelon, but, I had to sweeten it a bit and it could be a bit stronger.

Green Apple: Great apple flavor, it like a Granny Smith. Very true to taste and potent, could use on it's own.

Banana Cream: Nice smooth banana flavor. Stands great on it's own and mixed with other flavors like peanut butter.

Bavarian Cream: Nice warm taste. More on the custard side than the French Vanilla. Great flavor to mix or warm up fruit flavors to make them more dessert-like.

French Vanilla: Light clean vanilla taste. Great for when mixing and you don't want the vanilla to overpower another flavor.

Cotton Candy: Smells like the real things and is hands down one of the easiest ways to sweeten anything.

Cinnamon: Very potent and very true to taste. It's fantastic on it's own and mixed with a variety of flavors. One of my favorites.

Blueberry: I can taste the blueberry, but it's on the weak side. I usually mix this one with vanilla or cinnamon to amp it up.

Pear: I cannot say enough good things about this flavor. It is spot on. One of my favorites.

Milk Chocolate: Very weak, IMO. It's easily overpowered by other flavors, and the chocolate doesn't come through enough on it's own.

Caramel: Not exactly caramel, has a strong maple flavor to it.

Candy Caramel: Nice buttery flavor. Like a caramel hard candy.

Mountain Dew Type: Nice general citrus flavor, a little on the weak side.

Peanut Butter: Fantastic! True peanut taste and mixes strong. One of my favorites.

Hazelnut: Very light hazelnut flavor. Would be good for adding a slight nutty undertone to other flavors.

Coffee: Nice strong coffee flavor. May need a bit of sweetener, unless you like your coffee black.

Cappuccino: Not as strong as the coffee, but still potent. Has a creamier taste than the coffee.

Coconut: I love it. Has a very true coconut taste. Could be a little stronger, but is still great.

Peach: Taste just like peach, I added a little cotton candy to bring out the flavor and some sweetness.

Tobacco Absolute 50% diluted: Great tobacco flavor. Still very, and I mean very potent. A little goes a long way. Might not be great alone, but is awesome mixed.

Menthol: Fantastic. Smells and taste just like menthol. Not candyish at all. Very potent.

Blackberry: Nice berry flavor, clean tasting.

Plum: On the weak side, but it taste like plum. Goes great as mixed with cinnamon for a subtle undertone.

Bacon: Taste like pork. Very strong. It just isn't for me. Might need some more smokiness or something. Be warned, this isn't for everyone!

These are all just my opinion, everyone's taste perception is different and you might find your results are very different than mine.

Linda has revamped her site. The samples are now on a link on the left side with other links, tilted Flavors in Development. We can no only request three flavors with an order as supplies are limited and with the understanding that feedback will be given. After we try it, there is a link Reviews. You can go there to fill out a form with your opinion. Pretty kewl idea.

I have some work to do :)

PAs I have tried so far. Most are at about 15% flavor. I use VG only juices with about 10-15% water added, depending on the flavor's solvent.

Sweet Cream: OMFG!! It is in fact just like heavy cream. Dead on, nailed it...but without the fat. This is not like Bav Cream or a vanilla. Its cream. Mixed with a touch of EM (Cotton Candy) and its like raiding the fridge for the whipped cream can. I like it on its own, but with fruits its really great. Seems to smooth fruits out a lot. Heaven with pear. Does linger a bit on the atty, but its a linger I can live with, and its not more than a cart or two of something else before its all gone.

French Vanilla: Clean light vanilla. Much less heavy and cloying than Capella's vanilla custard. Very different. I like Cap's VC, but this is more of a background, like vanilla in vanilla ice cream is not over the top vanilla.

Black Cherry: dead on. True flavor of the fruit. Not too sweet. Actually I agree with the others, PAs flavors are not as sweet as others I've tried. For me this is good, since VG makes a juice sweet, and I prefer to decide the sweetness by adding cotton candy (EM).

Cotton Candy: This is ethyl maltol in PG. By itself it is very much cotton candy. With other flavors adds sweetening. Very useful.

Pear: oh, my. This one is sooooo good! Sweet, juicy ripe pear. Very true flavor.

Black Licorice: not the back jelly belly I was looking for, but much closer than Loranns licorice. I want a licorice that numbs your mouth, and that may be hard to get. But if you like licorice, this is the best I've tried, and its very true to licorice candy in general. Black Jelly Bellies must have other ingredients, like anise that makes them special. I will definitely be vaping this flavor. I like it a lot, but am hoping for a more aggressive licorice in the future.

I got a bunch more, but haven't mixed them up yet. So stay tuned! :D

One thing I noted with all these is the lack of coughing. Capellas often make me cough, Lorann less so, but some. Nothing at all with PAs, and that is very important to me. Less phlegm too, which was an issue with Capellas, and is oviously related to coughing.

Yes, the flavors tend to be lighter than other brands I've tried, and perhaps some will need 20%, which means I will cut back on adding water. But so far, I think Linda does some great chemistry! And what I really like is her willingness to work with us to tweak flavors.

Gooddog: get the sweet cream!! Its so good! :):):)

If you are looking for aroma notes, I would definantly check out Guaiacol, the base note is phenolic smoke spice. Gives any flavor a smokey feel, this is great in tobacco flavors and might be good in bacon.
