The PG based liquid gives me a congested cough. I tried the VG & it destroys my atomizers. I'm trying to find out more about the Polyethylene glycerin (PEG) based liquid. Do you have any info?

It's Polyethylene glycol, and I have nothing more than what has been said here and elsewhere - wiki, etc.

VG properly diluted with distilled water or PGA (pure grain alcohol) at @ an 80-20 ratio won't destroy attys.

Welcome to ECF, KeithKing! It's good to have you with us. Here's some additional information that might also be helpful:

I quote from Part 3 of the WWV Illustrated Guide linked in my signature:
  • iVapour-Elixir also carries PEG, as does Nuvape.com (they call it NON-PG). [NOTE: iVapour-Elixir says this about PEG: “Seems to have more vapour production than PG liquid, and might suit PG allergy sufferers too (though VG liquid is recommended for those who are PG sensitive).”]
Because of its purity, ECOpure (which I have never used) may be friendlier to your atomizers. However, when I mix my own juice, I use both PG and VG and have never had a clogging problem.

After posting Part 3, I discovered Cignot, which offers a vast selection of both ECOpure and VG juice.

For further information on PEG, explore the Health and Medical Issues section of ECF, especially the Health, Safety and E-Smoking forum. And search for PEG, using that very tiny box in the bottom left of most ECF pages (the standard "Search" feature doesn't like terms less than four characters). It does a Google search, but just of ECF. I found dozens of references to PEG.

For atomizer clogging, check out the instructional videos in the Basic Maintenance portion of Part 3 of the 510 Guide* linked in my signature and/or explore the E-cig Technical Issues and Tips & Tricks forums.

* [NOTE: Most of what is shown in those videos should be relevant for any atomizer. Other portions of that guide promote a specific supplier, but can be ignored as they are not applicable to this issue.]
