How many do you need and which ones do you need? The ones for the glass or the ones for the cap? They never send extras for the cap, just for the glass. If it is for the glass you need, please get with me when we announce they will be on sale in 24 hours. It gets crazy here once they go on sale and this way if there are extras we can put them aside for you.

I would like to have both kinds, but the ones for glass if you will have some extra. I'll watch for when you announce. I'll just wait to order the tank and a few of the new stands you just got in, until then.
Thanks for the offer.

Oh I want, I want. So they will be on the site soon? Have you set a price yet? Do you have special designs for them or will all your designs work. Give me a minute and I'll think of another question.

Patience grass hopper! Depends on your idea of soon.

We have two sets of caps and only made 3 or 4 tanks. We need to make more tanks to make sure there are no issues with the caps designs and do some testing. It will take about 2 weeks for the machine shop to get us caps as they are currently using the last of their delrin for our existing cap order for the regular tanks.

So we will be cutting, fire polishing and annealing more glass for the skinny's this weekend.

Chris will be doing some testing on them this coming week. If the two prototype caps look like they are going to work we will order more from the machine shop.

While we are waiting for the machine shop to make the caps I will be working out what designs will work and which wont from the existing library and likely creating some knew designs that will work better for the very skinny tank!

As far as pricing goes.... I wont have a price until some of the stuff that is still up in the air mentioned above is worked out.

If I had to take a guess, I would say they will be ready for sale by the end of January earliest mid February latest.

I dont think I will ever have the o-rings for the cap. But you didn't mention how many sets you wanted for the glass. I might be able to help you now!

Patience grass hopper! If I had a nickle for every time somebody told me that I'd be rich. It is not one of my many virtues. :D

What is the tank capacity again? Oh, and how tall are they? See, I knew I'd have more questions.

The tank capacity is how much they will hold....

The height of the tank is how tall they are ......

Chris hasn't tested capacity yet.

At the moment we have prototypes in two sizes. One the same size as our existing XL tank and the other the same size as our existing regular size. I have gone back and fourth as to whether or not the regular size one is even worth it. It will hold very little juice but it will allow people to use regular size cartos if they choose.

As soon as chris tests the capacity I will post it in the other thread.

If it won't hold at least 2ml it's not worth bothering with IMO. I'm thinking tall and skinny like the DC tanks.

I agree but some people might want to use a regular boge or fusion or whatever with it. If we do both sizes you aren't stuck with an XL size carto if you dont use them

But if they only hold 1ml or less they might not sell then you would be out the expense of those short tubes. If it were me, I would make the tall skinny tanks and see if you get requests for smaller ones. OR...just make a few of the short ones and see if they sell. Now aren't you glad you asked. LOL.

Drilling it is probably the easiest way and won't require any special equipment. Since you're only going to be drilling the one hole, there's no need to invest in any fancy tools (ie - carbide bits, etc). Just use a bit that's not already dulled, it probably won't be sharp anymore when you're done but if it starts out sharp it will go a lot easier ;-) Other than that, just have patience 'cos it will take you a little longer to get through than drilling the same hole in SS would.

I can't speak from experience here, though, I've rarely worked with titanium and haven't done any modifications to my Cobra
