It helps to start low. 2.9-3.0v. And gradually climb up the ladder. Especially with the thinner wire. Popping high Vs through can pop those wires. Try taking a lighter to the wire and glowing it on a quick pass. Annealing the wire helps there too.

Yup sure does. I use a torch on the wire back and forth once and make sure it glows orange. Don't go to slow, just a nice steady pace.

So I received my syringe today and was very surprised at what I actually got. I only ordered 1 5ml syringe with 1 needle tip. What I received was 2 syringes, 2 needle tips and a nice vase(ming) drip tip.

Nice :)

Sweet. Double bam and a surprise to boot. Those are small. But I bet easy to handle.

I need opinions about this thread. Chris and I are getting ready to run a Christmas contest or two in a couple of weeks. I am only allowed two threads open at a time. At the moment I have this thread and my other thread that covers all other Phiniac topics not related to Cobra. So I have a choice to make. I have really enjoyed all the Cobra support here and I am reluctant to close this thread. Choices are:

1. We can move the Cobra chat to my other thread. But I am worried it will make it harder for people to find what they are looking for.
2. I can close this thread to open a contest thread and then re-open this thread when the contest(s) are done.
3. I can post contest news in both this and my other thread and keep them both open, but if that is the case I will need people to help spread the word that we are having a contest!

Please share your thoughts!

Option 2 or 3. Option 1 will mix everything together making it harder in the future to search tips even more. So I would say, you can close this for now, run your contest(s), then reopen. Or keep both going. But I feel it may just be easier to close and reopen.

What I would recommend if you close, set the close dates in your last post. If possible, stick close to that date so people know expectations. Then everyone knows tat they can return on "date", and seek more.

Here's your kink in the armor Moo. And you KNOW I'd be the one to bring it up. Sorry. Will the next shipment of cobras arrive during the contest? If so, then go option 3 and maybe link to the other thread in your signature?

No kink in my armor... My armor is thankfully still in tact! If siam mods sticks to their delivery date we will have the next batch of Cobras end of November very beginning of December depending on when they actually arrive here. If it is anything like the last Cobra sale they will all be gone by morning. We will start the provari/phineer contest the week of December 10th and the Cobra Contest the week of December 17th...

Yup I said Cobra Contest :p

Oh snap. Now see, I could be looking at adding a birthday present sometime between now and some day. :)

Of course is Siam Mods does not come through on their end of November promise, then my armor is all messed up.
And hence why I said that. And now that I did say it, you know Murphy will show up. I think I'm going into the corner now.

#1. Not a good idea.

#2. Good idea.

#3. If you leave both threads open and post news of the contest in each thread, how will you keep track of entries in both threads? That seems like a lot of work to keep track of. Not to worry about spreading the word. One of us will post the contest in the "Contest Thread".

Well....if anyone can pull off spreading the word here, you've e proven you can.

We will not be running the contest on either thread. We only have one of each prize to give away and we want to include our friends from all forums and facebook. The submissions will be done through our website so everyone can play in one place. We will use the contest threads to announce the contests and rules, update people on times, post winners and of course we will post our favorite submissions. So it would not be a problem to keep both pages open. As I said my only concern is without a new thread that says "Contest" will the word get spread.

Murphy has been running my life since July! Murphy is not welcomed here anymore!!! Both me and my lab with a broken leg and taking turns guarding the front the door to keep Murphy away. This is why I need to kink in my armor.

Well we don't want to spread it too much. It would lessen my chance of winning, that is if I knew what a "mad lib" was.

J/k...We could put a link in our signature like somebody said.

Posting it on FB will probably get you as much or more play as having it on ECF....especially if you give away a Cobra. There are several rebuildable groups, as well as the general vaping groups. Word spreads quickly on FB.

Did you get my PM?
