On a side note ....
moorea ... any idea when these Cobra Drip Tip - Titanium - Phiniac Rugged Pyrex Glass Tanks may be back in stock?

Also, any word on sandblasting the Cobra Logo on the Cobra glass?

Hope your Saturday's going well!
Thanks

The Cobra drip tips will be showing up in the same package as the SS 510 Stands! I haven't gotten a tracking number yet, but the package has been shipped. If I had to take a guess I would say it will arrive some in the next 7 to 10 days!

Sandblasting the cobra logo on the Cobra glass. Good question, I totally forgot to ask for the art files. I will see if I can get those. However even if I can I do not think the logo as it is now will work well for sandblasting. Lots of thin lines and thin lines do not sandblast well. But if I can get the original art files I might be able to thicken them and make it work.

Sweet! Thanks for that info! :)

I can see the Cobra thin lines you speak of. But, for some reason I can see you manipulating things a bit,
as long as you don't get into a copyright thing. Stay cool!:2cool:
Thanks moorea.

Happy New Year everyone. What a rush the last two weeks have been. Haven't had time to do anything pv related except vape. I haven't even had time to put my new tanks on the cobras. :( But now that everthing is starting to settle back in to normal, I plan to set them up soon. Looking forward to the new year, the new things to come our way, and I wish everyone a most excellent 2013.

I declare that it will be one of your best years yet! Today will be a great day and may it hold true every day you call today. :D

got my 5mil set up, she vapes like a champ. draws a lot tighter than I'm used to but I'm sticking to it for now trying to avoid drilling it out.

3mil going in mail today, Moorea is great that she's gonna check it out and find a fix, center pin is to fat at the bottom so it doesnt screw into the provari mini my friend has (i got it for him). it'll turn a couple on my full but I don't trust it even with that, if I take the pin out it screws down nice but can't build it or vape it without the pin lol.

off topic: Yank I got a GGTS comming in the mail, I know this is your favorite mod, any tips tricks etc or suggested reading before it comes in?

That's an odd situation with the center post for sure. Almost seems like the screw head is too big, machined that big? A gentle grinding wheel could help or an easy post replacement if it was just an off machining.

Off topic indeed: :)
Yes, as for mechanical mods, the GGTS is my favorite for sure. There are so many ways to answer this but I am not sure what you are putting on the GG. I have 2 of them and one has an ody with GG base. I have two ithacas coming which will be GG base native. So for me it's an easy choice.

I use kick sometimes when I have a juice that wants regulated volts/watts. I usually go without. Use as much brass innards as possible, especially with a kick. Brass battery post and spring, button springs, etc.

If you have specific questions, let me know. There is so much.

Honestly I don't know enough about them to even ask the right questions lol. I'll either keep my DID or my cobra on it more than likely to start. it's SS #1390 the thread is still in the classy's trading my Ihy standard for it (still got my blue dragon and an HR on the way so not a huge loss)

do they come with a native 510 or do I have to buy an adapter?
where is a good place to get upgrade parts and such for it? like the brass switches and caps?

Oh ok. I see the ad. COV is the place to get the parts when they are in stock. You will have two options and both require adapters. 510-901 and 901-510 OR rethreader ring and 901-510 adapter.

If you have questions regarding this, feel free to PM me and I can explain this so we don't continue to off topic Moo's thread. She doesn't seem to mind some off topic posts, but I tend to shy away from that. :)

I know some have said that their cobras will not screw down all the way. In fact my last cobra would not do this on certain mods. My first cobra screwed down just fine. All if the below helps if you have some rubber/silicone gripper as it will require good grip.

I took a bolt and screwed down the cobra as far as it would go tight, then backed it off and repeated. I did this for about 20 mins and if you keep an eye on the logo or air hole you will notice it advancing each time. After 20 minutes I gained 2 1/2 turns. That's 2 FULL turns and 1/2 turn. That's a lot of gain. Now it fires on the bolt just fine.

Why's I do this? I don't have many mods. And I coil the cobras to work without a kick. Just another way for me having a home for each device I have. Add to this I'm cleaning room for a different RBA on my GGTS later in March.

Patience will gain more turns.
