Until I tried the Resurrectors (also known as 1.7 single coil xl SmokTeck), I either used the goldv2s or the fusions. One of the Reonauties send me a couple of the resurrectors to try out and I've been hooked on them since.

I'm a fusion fan myself. I have a bunch of resurrectors for sizing, maybe I'll have to try one!

Absolutely agree about the resurrectors. They are hands down one of the best cartos I've used in a while. Oh, forgot to mention that I got my XL tank in today. Really liking it and plan to use a resurrector in it as well. I've heard from someone that the 2 ohms Smoketechs aren't that different. Bad thing is that I haven't seen any XL versions of the 2ohm types.

I have them sitting there, the only thing that has stopped me from using them is they are so big. I'm not a huge fan of XL cartos and tanks, I like to keep my vaping profile low. But they are there so I might have to give one a try!

You should definitely give them a try sometimes. I really like the type of filler material (it's loose and fluffy) that are in them. Makes it easy to fill them up. Also, they perform nicely but are more suited for tobacco or strong flavored juices. Since the mellow and fruit/dessert flavors seem to taste burnt from all the heat that's generated from these cartos.

The size of them did get to me at first but, their performance more then makes up for it. Also, it's much more convenient to carry abound more juice if I'm away from the house for a while. Anyways, I do like having a low profile vaping set-ups and have different mods geared for that type of use.

I actually have several XL's here to try from our size testing. I have:

IKV MEGA KR-808 Cartomizer Stainless 3.0Ω
39-2 C.C.V. Mega LR 1.7 (THE RESURRECTOR)
And the DC from MadVapes

I guess I should get around to trying one soon... But then there is also the issue, which XL tank should I pick! I've got no XL rejects to use and picking a tank is too difficult for me!

I can see your dilemma. You can always close your eyes and let the tank gods decide with their infinite wisdom. The first one that levitates towards your hand will be the "chosen one" LOL

I'm just joking around with you. You could always have your husband decide. Anyways, the IKV Mega KR808's are good cartos as well. Really like the flavor they produce. Also gives good TH and vapor too. The only issue would be the draw since it is a horizontal coiled carto. So, it takes a little bit of a light/long drag to get a good vape out of them.

Besides the Fusions/Platinums then those are my favorite cartos from IKV. OH, some have used the XL cartos in their regular sized tanks. So, that might be an option too.

Yeah, but if I am going to use an XL, might as well get the benefit of a tank that holds more juice!

That is usually what happens, I let the hubby decide when I can't. Hence my purple buzz!

Sometime in the next few days, I'll either have hubby pick one for me, or just stick my hand in the XL drawer and see what I come out with and try some the XL's sitting around and collecting dust!

Exactly, you might as well. Plus, I'm sure you'll get used to it in no time. He did the right thing by getting you a purple buzz. Those do look nice and pretty popular as well.

Anyways, that sounds like a plan. Interested to hear your opinions about the resurrectors or any of the XL cartos you have. Plus, they won't go to waste.

OK so hubby is putting the 510 top cap back on my Purple Buzz (hopefully he won't break the wire again) and then drilling holes in the XL cartos... which should I try first? The IKV 808 or the RESURRECTOR?

Well I started with the IKV 808 and I am extremely unimpressed. The draw is extremely tight. I prefer the Fusions over the Boges as the draw is a little tighter on the Fusions, but this is really over doing it. My cheeks hurt. The problem is I don't know if it is the carto or my Buzz. I had to send my buzz off to Mike to be fixed and this is the first I have used it since it has returned! Now I think I need to convince the hubby to drill some holes in the ressurectors :p Because I am really not enjoying the IKV mega 808's!
