Yeah, I can imagine how dark the black one would be but, it's going to look FANTASTIC once it's sand blasted. It's going to be a work of art since that's going to make it pop. Already getting some cash ready when that comes out. I'm going to take those in the video as a preview of what's to come. I bet they'll look 10 times better once they are finished.

Have you tried the resurrectors yet?

The green, pink and lavender are a bit lighter. The green is my favorite! The black and colbalt are so dark you will have to hold it next to the sun to see your juice and the amber is in between the two. You will have to ignore the glass in those videos, they are not polished and the video was taken right after they were cut, so it they look pretty nasty! I don't think we will be doing any additional glass work on them, but I am trying to push forward with them so they are ready very shortly after we are up and running with the sand blasting as I can not wait to see how they look sand blasted!

Ressurectors look like they will be tomorrows project as the hubby is looking done fore the evening and I only have a few and don't want to take a drill to them myself!

If I had to take a guess, I would say the lighter green, purple and pinks will be the most popular, sand blasted or plain, but that is only because I personally like to see my juice, so I would not like the two darker ones. And the orange does not do anything me.

Nope no ressuurectors yet.... We live 45 minutes into the "middle of nowhere" so when we got to town to do errands we do our best to get them all done and make as few trips as possible. Just getting to the edge of town and home again is an hour and half of driving. Today was a trip to town day and we only got home about 1/2 hour ago. Still have a ton of stuff to put away!

Yeah, all of those will be INSANELY popular with people and I'm sure the purple, pink, and green tanks will be the first to go. I like to see the juices most of the time too. Just want the darker ones more for novelty reasons then anything else. Also, they'll look cool too LOL. Probably going to get a couple of black ones and clear sand blasted tanks. But, I'm getting ahead of myself right now. I'll be patiently waiting to see some of the prototypes.

Wow, that's a really long drive to town and back. Makes total sense to get as much done as possible when your there before you have to go home again. Have never had to drive that far before to do errands. So, I would do the same thing if I were in that position.

We are going to start out using our reject tanks to play around with the sand blasting. So we should have photos by the end of next week. The tanks however will not be usable as they are ones that caps don't fit etc, but at least we will have something for you to look out soon. After that we will start making blank tanks for sand blasting. I am only guessing, but I would say we will have sandblasted tanks ready for sale within the next 2 to 3 weeks and the with any luck if all goes well at the machine shop tinted tanks with sand blasting as well!

Yes, the drive is a huge pain in the ....... It would be nice to have at the least a grocery store less then 45 minutes away, but or little corner of the middle of no where is beautiful. We have elk and moose that drink from our lake and bald eagle that fish from (not to mention deer) and a 360 degree view of year round snow capped mountains! Life could be worse!

Definitely looking forward to seeing the prototypes that are going to be made. The progress being made on these sand blasted and tinted tanks is amazingly fast. Especially when they're going to be on sale in the next 2-3 weeks. Can't wait until I get a chance to own a few of those. Crossing my fingers that everything goes according to plan. Honestly have never been this excited about a carto tank. But, things have changed and I'm starting to have a small collection.

Sounds like it's a really nice place. I guess everyone has to trade off one thing for another depending on where they live. Personally think it's great to see all of those animals all the time along with the view. Living in the city, I NEVER get a chance to see something like that. The only thing that I get to see is buildings, people, crows, and traffic. Only get to see a bald eagle every now and then for a brief period of time.

Love the new colored tanks! Wow! I so understand living far from conveniences. We do have a small grocery store in town, but drive almost 40 miles to go to Wal Mart, the doctor, etc. Unfortunately I don't have the cool view to look at. It sounds gorgeous!

The new colored tanks are NICE right. I can't wait to see the pics next week. Anyways, welcome to the thread!

I wouldn't want anyone to find my place neither if I was in your shoes. The land you have described must be REAL NICE and it sounds like you have just about everything you need. So, you probably don't even have a reason to go anywhere to get food or anything. Really must be a site to see.

I live just outside a small town in puerto rico, and it isn't far enough from civilization for my tastes, but since it is a small island everything is close. But I am moving up onto our property some day...........10 acres, the side of a small mountain, it is pretty overgrown and wild in areas but that is cause I haven't cleared the trails, I don't want people finding it, the land is gorgeous I have been mounting orchids to the fruit trees, we have a small organic farm, we grow tobacco, spice, veggies, we have alot of different fruit and nut trees from around the world 4 differnt Mango, 12 different types of banana. Funny thing is we grow so much it goes to the monkeys. But you name it, either we grow it, or I failed to adapt it to PR. I miss apples

There is a cabin in the woods that my wife's grandfather built himself when he was 70, we are going to build a little bit down the mountain from it. The cabin is one of my favorite places on earth, I can't wait to live up on the mountain for good.

Sounds very nice Karmachine!

It will likely be closer to the end of next week, but still next week is next week! :p

Yes, we are truly blessed with our setup, but as with anything there are trade off's. Not only the distance to the closest grocery store, but if anyone here every needs to take a trip to the hospital and get there quickly, they will be going by helicopter. And about 5 or 6 years ago my moms house pretty much burnt down before the fire department made it here (she lives on the other side of our property) so in many ways we are truly on our own. The DSL is extremely slow, not much better then dial up. And it gets cold... Really cold. I don't mind the snow, I like it, but every year we have about a week of negative 35 below weather and that is just too cold! But I was born and raised about 40 minutes outside of New York City and I never really felt like a new yorker or a "city" person for that matter, so I wouldn't trade what we have now for anything :p

Clear sand blasted tanks will be next week. We will try a few tinted ones to get an idea of how the blasting looks on them, but for the most part tinted tanks (sand blasted or not) will follow after we are fully up and running with the clear sand blasted. We haven't even done the measurements for a new cap!

That's true, it would take a while to reach the nearest hospital too. Sorry to hear about your mom's house. Must've been really hard for her at that time. It does sound like you all are on your own out there. And wow, 35 below is crazy cold. I don't think that I can handle that type of weather. People start acting crazy in my city when only a couple of inches of snow fall. Every person has a place that they feel like they belong and so, I'm happy you two have found it.

A new cap? Now, that has peaked my interest and can't wait to see what it is soon. No worries about the tinted ones. I'm sure I'll get one no matter what and especially some of the clear sand blasted tanks. Really shaping up to be a good year!!

Just ordered the carto puncher from CloudsOfVapor.com

Did you get the $15 puncher or the $40 one? I checked COV last night and the $15 one was out of stock. I think I'm just going to pick up a saddle valve punch at Home Depot. Last night I punched two cartos, for the first time, using a very pointy screw and hammer. I tried it without locking wrench but didn't have any success. (I protected the end tube with a condom.) After locking it down it was still not as easy to get a hole in the heavy steel as it appears on Youtube videos. I've cut my share of atty and carto tubes using a small inexpensive pipe cutter. That's a breeze to do compared to punching a hole in one of those tubes. I don't know if some tubes are tougher than others, as far as punching, but the two I did were a steel Resurector and a one year old, but unused, standard size IKV 510 steel carto. I'm not going to do it without a proper puncher again.

Got this one: Jig & Punch for Cartos and been using it for months, works perfect!

That's a nice one. I'm still going with the $6-8 saddle valve to have more money left for Phiniac tanks.;)

Going to the linked page I see the CE2 Tanks. I'm not meaning this in any way to cause any ruckus but I tried and tried to like CE2 tank setups over a year ago and never could get satisfaction. Main issues were getting good seal, too much fiddling and hassle, and I never could get good enough wicking, with my preferred juices. I gave up. Then the carto tanks started coming out, I purchased a few, but I didn't ever use them. I'm just back to using tanks, in past few days because I purchased a Buzz Pro and a couple of tanks. I'm loving and drooling over the Phiniac tanks and will certainly add some to my collection.

I have just recently organized my scattered around the house stashes of vaping stuff. I have a bunch of CE2 cartos, the type before the heavier wicks. I'm not sure what to do with them.

Serious question.... why do people use the CE2 cartos instead of regular cartos in Tanks?
