Yea, but with my recent experience you have to ask if it is a carto destroyer also. One juice ruined two cartos first time I used my new tank (explained in precious post). After cleaning tank and replacing carto with different juice no problem.
But Cartos are hit and miss..I have had Cartos that a terrible from the word go and Cartos that vape like a king for a long time. Same juice..same box of Cartos..

I read in another thread that SmokTech had recently changed their filler material and no matter what they all taste like crap. I'll try to find that thread and link it. Are you using SmokTechs, jackbox?
I think they are Smoktech. They are the ones with the flange on the bottom for the DCT tanks they make. One carto came from Totally Wicked and the other came from Health Cabin. Both were 2 ohm.

omg, that is too funny! A stink in clintonville... Well I was about 16 at the time, and having a whole lotta fun in campus bars... so yeah, a 'stink' pretty much covers it! rofl
As to the smoktechs, Yeah, we were just talking in another thread... its not just the dc's. The 1.7ohm resurrectors have been behaving TERRIBLY, too! They used to last me a month or more on 100% VG sweet flavors. Now they get all cloggy, and flavors fall flat after like 3 days to a week! All the vendors need to stage a revolt and demand the old filler! Why mess with a good thing? Plus, I use them pretty much exclusively, and vape a ton of flavors, so its definitely a trend.. not just a few bad ones. Bummer.

yup, stint was intended, but the typo kinda worked better, all things considered.
I read for a long time and have seen in videos users complaining that some DCT's from Smoktek (or anyone) smell like burning car tires. I believed it when I finally got one. If you want to vape a tank of burning rubber, it goes away, but I just toss them and move on to the next one. Something in the manufacturing process must cause this on random cartos.

Here's an update on my carto situation with my new Cobalt Blue Tank. After washing it out and ridding it of the offending carto destoyer juice, I filled it up with some well known bakery juice (SLGBC). It was good with no leaks but that high VG that vendor uses sure does much it hard for the carto to absorb the liquid. After vaping about 3mls of the stuff I removed the top cap and poured out the rest into a 5ml dripper bottle (found a great cheap, local source in Bangkok in lots of 100 PE/PP bottles). After draining the juice I put in a nice 70/30 pg/vg 8mg/ml Green Tea-Chrysanthemum juice my brother made up for me a few days ago. It flows beautifully in the DCT XL carto (1.5 ohm on an Ego Mod tube) with no leaking and vapes wonderfully. I think for a lot of people it could be an all day vape. So my tank is now happy, my carto is now happy and I am still happy (always loved my tank). I hope I win a new tank in the contest. My budget has been beat up by all this vaping stuff but now that I have gone Phin it is hard to go back to polycarbonate tanks.
Edit: See the avatar in the post above mine? That is my brother's tank. We bought twin, tall boy blue cobalt tank with our own custom artwork sandblasted on to them (Chris and Moorea did a fab job on the sandblasting and masking) and both faces are on opposite sides of both tanks. I am the smiling face and my brother is the grumpy face. I lit my tank up for my avatar to give it a flowing look but some people tell me it looks scary. LOL

Well my Sneaky Pete I bought in the classies came today, so now I'm rockin the Phiniac Buckeye Tank on its own mod now. But I think there may be a problem, I'm having a hard time seeing my computer screen and tv. Oh wait, nevermind, it is just this lil fog machine I'm holding!
