I was preparing to work on my latest mod project, which is a version of a rebuildable atomizer. I looked down at my work table and realized that I have officially gone insane. I have pliers and tweezers, soldering guns, wire, tubes, many dead atomizers, all sorts of e-liquids, nickel foam, silica rope... The list goes on and on. I owned almost none of this stuff before I started using e-cigs just 5 short months ago. I started modding to save money. Hmmm, I think it might take awhile before I start saving money. I am having FUN though :)

So I put all my junk on a table and took a picture - I ask you to do the same. I need to know I'm not the only one that's gone off the deep end with this. Besides, I think it will be quite entertaining to see everyone's gadgets, tools and other e-cig junk.

Why is it so neat? I will probably post tomorrow if I can find my camera in all this junk. :>)

I don't have any pics but I have a 36" X 72" Bar for my main bench and then a completely separate soldering station.
Don't worry... there are crazier people in the modding world, myself included !!!

I just start5ed last week taking things apart and stuff. i am using the table in the Florida room. dam my wife yells every day. BTW a florida room is like a enclosed porch in the backyard. but its a mess. i think i need to clean up my garage and take off all that stuff on my workbench. yes i have a woirkbench and i use that for storage. I was at Sears this past weekend and looking at workbenches and stuff. i tell ya they have some nice setups. wonder what wifey will say when i say i need another grand for a workbench this way i can put the workbench in the living room. i am going straight to hell i tell ya or divorce court.
all the pics i see here are not messy at all.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

KY!!!!!...... that is the neatest junk pile I have ever seen...... I'm too ashamed to take a picture of my desk (at work).......

My toolbox is quite small, will most likely fit into a shoebox but is spread everywhere and everyone in the office respects that.... hehehe!

Boertjie - You mod e-cigs at work?? I wanna work in your office!

Crazy?!?! Hell no! I am jealous. I have been out of the electronics game for over 2 decades once being a computer tech became glorified card swappers. I have almost nothing in the way of real technical tools now. I don't even have my multimeter anymore. I had a huge fishing tackle box packed with everything imaginable, and I completely lost track of it. Now that I am vaping, I have been bitten by the electronics bug again and I am going to begin collecting everything and anything I can get my greedy little hands on. I'm dirt poor and it will take forever, but.. oh well. Firstly, I am grabbing any and all broken electronic devices and will be stripping them for every functioning part they have.

Crazy? I'll show ya crazy!! Muuuhahahaha.....

Bubo - Perfect - love it! All that cool stuff and I can't help wondering what's in the glass... Cranberry juice? Big Red? Wine? By the way, hopefully you don't build atomizers with that torch.

Just enough cranberry to color the vodka... :)
I've been using the torch to quickly heat up battery connectors to solder real wires on them, rather than the pesky micro wires that they came with.... I can't seem to do it well with the soldering iron...
