You may be right, but over 24 hours is quite a bit of time on the Lathe
Additionally, I assume he was working on the lathe before when I emailed him. But if I remember correctly he said he was just waiting on O-rings.

What's the deal with all these super secret groups? I mean, really? "Oh, I want to sell my products but I'll only sell them to the cool kids. Know the secret handshake or scram."
ETA: What's the deal with the overly harsh censorship? I initially typed "Know the secret handshake or gee tee eff oh" and it blocked that. It's not like I typed out the eff word, just the acronym. Sheesh.

I don't think it is much of a secret, but yeah, I know what you mean with regards to some places...the thing is, the modders in secret groups don't have a problem selling their devices...they have a problem coming even close to meeting demand

You make a good point and I can appreciate that demand creates a problem for the modders who do most (if not all) of the work alone. It just feel like elitism in some cases. Like I read the High-End mods forum (not that I post there as I don't really have anything truly high end but I like to live vicariously through people lol) and most of those lists don't even get posted they just mention them in hushed tones. Maybe a tiny bit but it really just got me thinking about the groups in general and so I posted that comment. Sorry to have gone off-topic.
Haha, it's all good, I feel the same way at times, trying to get into as squonking was a PITA, luckily someone added me to all the groups, but fuuuuu if you don't have a buddy already on the scene

Well, seriously, if I need to go looking for these groups to give someone my money, I don't need whatever they're selling. Is this junior high? Like I posted way back in this thread, it reminds me of the Nectar RTA which I really wanted but I'm not ordering directly from AmerPoint and paying shipping that equals about half the cost of the atty itself and no US sites have it in stock. I just hope it wicks well.
