Told ya I'd be back soon. :)

All of these requests are for the 1" comfort design (and I love the dual o-rings):

Inlace - Abyss : Inlace #101 - The Abyss - WoodTurningz
Inlace - Frostbite : Inlace #104 - Frostbite - WoodTurningz
Inlace - Black Peacock : Inlace Acrylester Pen Blank #60 - Black Peacock - WoodTurningz

TruStone - Black Mother of Pearl : r and b crafts - black mother of pearl

M3 - Black & White Mokume : r and b crafts - black & white mokume

It appears that the M3 materials are in limited supply, so at least one batch of these would probably be awesome. As always, whenever you get to any or all of these is fine, I'm in no hurry. Your craftsmanship is worth the wait.

Those drip tips didn't last long at all lol - probably because I scooped up a third of them because these were the drip tips I requested and waited patiently (impatiently) waited for lol - I'm sorry to any who missed out this time around but I have been waiting a long time for these beauties because of was so far down the list of requests and because of machinery malfunctions lol - I think Lewis is almost caught up with drip tip requests now so no one should have to wait as long as I did lol - I can't wait for them to arrive now - thank you so very much Lewis for filling my requests - I'm sure I'll have more in the future lol

It was meant to be sorry darn auto correct,
I will be using the tip on my spheroid
http://www.vapourart.com/en/product/gp-spheroid-version-3

That will go on my paps lux,
I hope this helps to inspire you! I am just excited to see your work and possibly own one!
It does inspire me. I added it to the list.

That bronze and violet is spectacular. It looks like it's lite up from inside. I can hardly wait.

I added a 0.75" straight bevel in bronze and violet to the list. Sorry I didn't take the hint, I can be a little slow at times when I am programming. If this isn't the exact tip you would like just let me know and I will change it.

Told ya I'd be back soon. :)

Added them all to the list.

I am really glad you got your tips. They sold out so fast I was really worried. I hope you enjoy them all :)

It has been brought to my attention that at least one customer was not able to purchase a tip they requested with the current selling system and I am very happy they took the time to let me know, thank you again.

If I was a customer that requested a tip, waited for months to have it made and then I didn't get my tip because I was a few minutes slow I would not be happy at all. Happy customers are very important to me as it gives me pride in what I build. Happy customers are also very important to Discount Vapers because they are running a business and are nice enough to provide a shipping solution for these tips with great customer service. The last thing I would want to do is upset any of their customers. This may have already happened without my knowledge. If this did happen to you I am sorry and would love a chance to make this right.

I am normally thinking about programming and machining vs the sales end of this hobby and with the limited time I have to spend it is easy to over look stuff like this. So in the future if you feel something could use improving or is not set up in a fair manner please post it up or send me a pm. If it benefits everyone and does not require a large amount of time to do on a regular basis it will be changed.

So with that said your requested tip will be set aside for you. This way you won't have to stalk the forum or your email just so you can make a payment and receive your merchandise.

I also like the idea of a customer being able to request a tip, but not being required to purchase it. If I requested a tip to go on a certain device and when it was finished it would not work like I wanted then I would not want to purchase it. I would want something else instead or explore other options. I think it should also be confidential in case the customer does not feel comfortable publicly saying they didn't like how it came out. Not sure how that will work exactly, but I am open to ideas.

Lately 50% - 70% of my time is spent improving the tips, the lathe and my machining skills vs producing tips. I am getting closer to where I want to be, but still have a lot of work to do. This tends to make the wait for requested tips even longer. When a customer requests a lot of tips and I make them all in one batch their requests can take up half the batch. This pushes requests that are behind theirs out further in what is already a long wait. I am considering only allowing 2 tips per request and the request can be for custom designs or a existing style. After your tips are completed you are welcome to request two more. This should allow the request list to cycle faster. Again I am open to how this should all be set up so it is fair and customers can enjoy the tip they requested.

At some point I will also post up the request list just to make sure I didn't accidentally miss anyone

I will be away for most of the day, but look forward to reading any ideas or comments you have.

Your requests did take up most of the batch but that was just because the batch got cut short. Also you were way beyond patient while waiting. Everyone here is very patient, gives me great ideas and by purchasing tips make it possible to improve the lathe and improve my skills which is really awesome.
I think 3 requests have been the average unlike Glen with 5. But that brings up a good point as well. Glen just wants to top off his new tanks so why not request 5 tips.
It got me thinking why do I make 3-5 of each requested tip when I only need one, this just makes the wait longer.
With developing new cores and learning taking up so much time why not turn 20 requested tips that are held and 10+ that are just up for grabs. This would allow 20 requested tips to be completed per batch.
Right now there are 21 tip requests and with making 5 of each Glen would be looking at a 3-6 month wait vs in the up coming batch.
Once I am able to get this lathe finished it will be more efficient and make a few more tips. At that point I will get another one to increase production. First I have to get this one right or I will just have two unfinished projects. I estimate it will be a year+ before I am thinking about getting a second lathe and have this setup well.

I absolutely love the idea of being able to request tips and having you hold them. I was able to grab 1 of the 2 blooming lilac tips (that was a color I had requested), but only because I happened to be using my phone when the email from DV came through. Otherwise, I have no doubt I would have been too late! I usually work 50+ hours a week (I gotta pay for my tip addiction somehow!! XD), so it's not unusual for me to miss email notifications. I'll also admit, I'm not always sure what I HAVE requested because these ECF threads are so dang long. ;)

Lewis, I to was late to the party but I did not request any of the tips that were posted for sale!
I know there is another ip maker that does requests, however I am not sure how they verify that it gets to the actual person and they don't sell on another business website, just their own.. If you want I can pm you with the information I have?

And again cant wait to see what you come up with for the spheroid! If you haven't tried it take a peek!

I think there is a easy way for DV to verify the right tips get to the right person. If it can't be easily automated I can mail them out when I mail the batch. I will be at the post office anyways.
I am planning to turn requests from four people per batch with a limit of 5 tips per person. The rest of the batch would still be first come first serve.
Sorry it wasnt very clear in the above post. I was typing out ideas on my lunch break.
This batch I am going to turn most or all of the requests. Then make a small batch for general sale.
After this batch the lathe is going to get new drill bits for making hollow cores. This time I won't take the lathe apart until I have all the parts, so the down time shouldn't be as bad.

I will post up the request list when I get a chance. I should post it on the web site so it is easier to find

Would you happen to know the diameter of the top cap where the tip sits on your Spheroid?
I just glanced over the site and can not for the life of me find the dimensions you are wanting, let me ask in the GP thread!

Edit: I knew someone on the thread would know
Inside diameter of the drip tip hole is .3295 inches or 8.37 mm
