Hi everyone,

I am now approaching week 4 of waiting for my first Reo. It looks like I may be able to get it with the new stock update so I hold my fingers crossed. In the meanwhile I want to go ahead and buy everything that I need so I am ready to go when my new baby arrives.

I made a similar topic to this a while ago and someone posted a link to a topic of some guy who really gives you a instruction on what to buy before you can use your reo mini but I am unable to find that topic.

All I really want to know is where do I get this highly loved Cisco LR atty for the reo? I tried locating it but my google skills seem to not be good enough.

Also what kind of batteries do I need for the reo mini? And what is the best place to get them from? Just so I know aprox. to not get screwed over by a site how much should a battery cost and the charger for it? I don't need a exact price but knowing an estimate would really help a lot.

With a drip tip, the batteries, the charger, and the atty am I ready to go?

Is there anything I need to alter to use the reo mini or is it 100% perfect when it comes to my door?

Is the Reo mini a 510 or is it possible to also put a lets say KR808 carto on the reo mini?

Also if one of you really feels like helping a newb I saw on reosmods that you should buy some sort of cleaning stuff called noalox. How often do I need to use it? and how do I know when to use it?

I am really sorry for all these questions but you may know how it feels if you wait for such a long time to finally get your first Reo and you probably also remember when you got a new mod or e-cig and didn't know everything about it. It would be really nice if some folks out here could help me find the answers I am looking for.

Sincerely,

The newb under your bed.

I run my Reo @ 6v with the Ikenvape HV-510 3.5ohm Atty, it's a super vape ! once in a while I will also run a 2ohm 510 from Ikenvape as well it depends on what juice I am using, but do yourself a favor and grab some AW 3.2 LiFePO4 Batts and a trustfire charger to charge these LiFePO4's this is a fantastic Vape with this combo of power cells & Iken Atty's !

Are these bats for the Reo mini? I am looking to buy a mini not a grand. Just double checking before I buy a bat that won't fit into a mini.

mwa OP is getting a Reo mini if I read the post correctly. This is great advise for the Grand but for the mini------ I run aw14500 batts. You will want to get at least three or four since you are looking to run LR atty's along with a charger. For the Cisco atty's they can be found at Avid Vaper : Electronic Cigarettes, E-Liquid and Accessories and that is Ciscos site. I like the cannon drip tip on the mini and that can be had at Iken's site along with the items listed by mwa (which all work nicely on the mini except for the HV stuff)510 Cartomizers . Make sure you have some extra juice since you will be going through more with a LR atty attached. Other than that you should be good to go. Enjoy and happy vapes.

Also to fill in my last question it says that the Reo Grand can be a 4 volt or 6 volt device how would I go about changing the volt on the Grand? I know this seems to be a stupid question for Reo owners but I have no clue about batteries or mods since the Reo will be my first mod.

Ultrafire WF-188 can charge the CR123a along with 14500's and others. It has a 3.7/3.2v switch on the side. You may want to get this charger is you think you will be getting a grand after the mini. It is only a few dollars more than the standard charger. BTW - the aw14500's are protected and I run them in my mini all day. I also run aw18650's in my grand.

What I still don't seem to understand is why do so many people rather have a mini then a grand? The grand is like what a inch or two taller but has so many advantages to the mini. Thanks a lot for the input Liv

I have both. Yes the grand has more options but for out and about (pocketability and trasnportability) I have a hard time beating the mini. The mini is much smaller than the grand and is a great performer. I find the grand to be a nice unit for the lazy boy. 6mls, a 18650 and I can park my ... for hours!

I enjoy my Grand much more then my Mini all day long, Mini is a good stealth vapor though, it's just that the 14500 Batts don't put out enough for me.

mwa I like my grand too (see above). If I could only buy one though I would lean towards the mini for the reasons I posted. Don't you get a great vape of a LR 306 and a aw14500? Sure you need to tote an extra batt or two but I really find the mini is an awesome unit with that set up. Either choice the OP will be happy and will end up having the other (mini or grand) down the road. That is why I suggested the WF-188 for some room to grow knowing the Reo is like a Lay's chip, it is hard to have just one :)

The fact you're preparing in advance suggests you'll get one on the next go-around. That is supposed to be Wednesday night. I would guess around 7pm eastern USA time. I'm too lazy to lookup UTC...

The mini uses a 14500 3.7 volt battery. $10. I've had good luck ordering batteries at both lighthound.com and batteryjunction.com. The former being my preference.

I have a Pila charger that I use most of the time. People say they are the best. Expensive though... I also have an Ultrafire charger that seems to work just as well. I continue to question myself on the $'s spent for the Pila. You should be able to find charger info from the links on lighthound and batteryjunction.

The Noalox you mentioned is not a cleaning agent. It is a gel that encourages electrical contact. Whenever you combine two different type metals they tend to corrode. When the corrosion starts, electrical continuity starts to decline. The Noaloxx thing is just a safeguard measure. Don't over do it. Just a dab from a toothpick, say every five battery changes or so. Nothing to stress over.

Just be ready before Wednesday PM and you'll be golden. Good luck!

Editing this to add that if you do order anything from lighthound.com - pickup a couple of these battery cases. They are a vapor's best friend. Holds a battery, or two, and a bottle of juice, and a spare atty/carto.

Liv2Ski,

I have to disagree, I would buy a Grand all day long over the Mini, The Grand allows you to vape @ 3.7v - 5v - 6v -7.2 - 7.4v not that the last two are used to often but still to ba able to use 3.7-5v-6v is a lot more options, I really only use my Grand @ 6v anymore with the Iken 3.5ohm HV-510 and find it just gives me a much Grander vape ;-)

Agree on the options part and like I said this is a unit I use when driving the lazy boy. I really do enjoy it, but for an out and about weapon I would pick the mini. Either way the OP rolls I am certain he will be more than happy with either model and will eventually buy the other too. I know I did along with many others. Happy vapes mwa
