I'll try that if it does it again. It seems to do it when I take a break from vaping. I'll put it down, go do something, come back and it's dripping from that hole.

it begins :) best wishes, glad you've got a vape now that will flip your lid when you get it working right! (I realize my lingo may convey negative - on the contrary - a lid flip is a very good thing, well as long as it doesn't flip and never come back i guess lol)

I'm ok with fiddling. Doesn't really bother me. I love the flavor I this thing and the vapor is fantastic!

Yeah, when I first got mine, I'm sure my eyes got as big as quarters -- WOW! THAT'S AMAZING! It was a big a step up as the little kanger tanks were from cigalikes! After I got 2 kayfuns, I stuck the lil kangers in a drawer. :D

Enjoy!!!

You're right, kinda. It's Nicole. :)

Yeah, I fat fingered that second C. Maybe I am a bit Bass Ackwards but, when I get a little flooding (rare), I just hold a paper towel up to the intake (side hole) and give it a gentle but forceful slow blow through the DT into the towel then wipe away the excess with out removing the KF from the firing device.

I am happy for you in the path that you have chosen. More people should find their local and friendly vapory shop, buy a topper that catches their eye and ask the gent or lady behind the counter if they wouldn't mind adding a build while you watch. If the shop is worth two shakes of salt, they should be more than happy to oblige.

You now have a fine topper to sit back and enjoy while you decide whether or not to swim a little closer to the deep end. Nice move! ;)

I was wondering about this as well. I read something recently, cant remember where, maybe the REO forum, about this. Seems it wont leak because you need to actually squeeze the bottle for juice to come out of the bottle. Also, If you turn it upside down or on its side, the tube will be above the juice so it cant go in the tube. You might have some juice around the catch cup or in your atty but other than that, it should be leak-proof

If there is juice in the dripper, it will leak when you put it in any position except upright even if the "extra" runs back down in the bottle, the wick is holding onto some and there is always some on the deck. Take that out into the heat and you will have leaks. I don't transport my drippers unless they are completely empty. Sounds like a pain to have to make sure the atty is empty before you can go out the door.

Holy cow, that's huge!

The class was awesome but it was more than just a class. It was me and the coil builder sitting down and going through the motions step by step. I must have watched him build 5 different coils before I decided to buy this. Then he built me the coil for it. I'll post a picture of it here in a second. I took a picture so I could look back and see what he did.

I like the vape on this thing A LOT. Although he let me try his dripper (can't remember what it was called though) and that thing was a MONSTER. I can't wait for my Triton to arrive! He gave me some wire too, and sent me on my merry way.

The only issue I'm having is some leaking. If anyone has any suggestions on that, I'd love to hear them![/QUOTE
PM me with any questions I am happy to help. I have 2 Russians and 6 KFL's and almost never have a problem. There are some tweaks and quirks but I am more than happy to help.

So far when it leaks I've pulled off the tip, wiped it all off and pushed it back down hard and it stops it. It hasn't leaked now for a couple of hours.

On another note, the coil the guy built me came in at 1.0. He was thrilled. I'm experimenting with wattage now with some lovely, well-steeped CB.

Your cotton wick just needed a little bit of "break-in" time. Glad you are liking it! I am especially glad you took that coil building class. It will save you hours of frustration later.

ya I agree with the Linux Goddess totally - a lot of times a wick will leak or gurgle a bit but once it breaks in it's all fine. i wicked a PT2 ith 0mg Refresh for Chrissy and I last night...wasn't doing too hot, not much vapor, little bit of a gurgle. today it's killer O.O

oh btw - Refresh is nice!

The strange thing is I usually re-wick every couple of tanks as the cotton wick gets old but the cotton wick I have in this current coil has lasted through at least 10 tanks...It's really yummy too, I hope I didn't jinx myself...

changing flavors isnt going to help you - you've already got the best of the best. it's definitely all about your device right now. please, dont be nervous about a REO - i was too, VERY nervous. in retrospect I shouldnt have been. bottom line is you need to learn to coil and wick on your own to a) increase performance in *any* device and b) save money. REOs are cheap once you get one. coils cost a few cents, replace them once in a while but not very often - wicks cost less, replace them more often. takes a very few minutes to do either/or. with a REO, it's hard to mess it up or cause a short. take that class and think about it, but give it *serious* thought before spending any money on other equipment. yo, I'd walk you through every single step on the telephone or skype or something. you'd be up and running in no time flat. so, so easy, so fool proof. SO good!

rthink about it - no leaks, no dry hits, no gurgles, no carrying around a bottle of juice with you or 3-4 tanks in case one screws up, none of that anymore. your REO holds 6 mls of juice on board. you squonk, it saturates your wick, and drains excess liquid back into the bottle. no leaking, nothing, ever. just squonk every 3-5 hits and it's vaping bliss.

the reason REO users are so adamant about this is because we know how good it is and how much frustration everything else can cause. come and join us. we're a family :)

I'd buy a Reo, I just can't justify buying a mod that squishes juice up from the bottom, potentially getting juice all over my car. I feel like checking if it's flooded the well too much or seeing if it wicked enough/too much would take the same amount of time as just poppin' the Tobh top and lookin inside. I can see the benefits for sure though. I'm sure they're completely awesome, but for the same price you can buy like 5 clones and 5 attys that have deeper juice wells and more coil/wick customization options lol. Maybe someday I'll see the light :D

haha, put that concern aside, that's not gonna happen my friend :) the worst thing if you over squonk? a drop of juice out the air hole - a quick wipe and vape away :)

excess juice is drained. so that only happens if you squonk for too long and it rises to the airhole. I've had it happen once by mistake, a few times semi-on-purpose (I love squonking, it's...it's...sensual ok? leave me alone I'm not a pervert :))

True, I'm sure once you get used to the squonking it's like second nature, as dripping comes to be. Getting my first KFL+ and nano kit tomorrow, once I come to a decision on how I like that I may look into a Reo lol. Kinda all depends on how much I will end up liking Raz Cup :D Might need to squonk that .... if it's real gooood :D I will admit, too, that the single coil build on that brass Reomizer looks reallly appealing in terms of being able to be lazier (kinda why I'm trying the KFL+) :D Thanks for the advice/ response man! :toast:

coil builds on both are yawn yawn easy :) wicking on the Reomizer is much easier though. like once you get wicking down on the KFL you'll likely love it, it's a great vape. on the RM2 I've had nothing but perfect wicks which means my dog could probably even pull it off haha (again--insert photo of Boomer looking all suspicious)
