I am in Florida and my credit card was used to book a hotel in England last month.

I use my credit card for the automatic monthly bills and I used it last month to purchase ecig supplies from the following vendors:

Backwoodsbrew
iherb
LiteCigUSA
VelvetVapors

I usually check that the vendor's paying page is marked HTTPS but I guess I slipped.
All these vendors are very reputable so Im not sure how this happened.

I filed a dispute with my CC company (BBT Visa) for the $500 hotel booking but they said they can not handle the $13 international charge fee. Whatever.

More likely to be a processor fault rather than a vendor. especially one of those 'automatic' ones. Obviously your (our) numbers do a bit of traveling.

I use a loading CC (from walmart) I put Cash on I take $$$ off. View all transactions via the web. I only but on what I need and no loans to that account. Currently under a buck sits in there. If someone was to get my info that is all they would manage and trying to get a $500.ooo room would be imposable.... Best bet for the web what ever you buy.
