I just find it odd that like 80%+ of your posts are how awesome vladdins are even for stuff that any pod wouldn’t be that great a choice for.
Yes, in my stable I've only got a Zeus X RTA @ 0.13ohm with rayon as a main, and a Vladdin RE as a stealth backup. I won't recommend stuff I haven't personally vetted, so all my posts revolve around those two systems.
I've seen the vaping treadmill. It begins by dipping your toe in with a cheap setup that looks shiny but has numerous hidden problems, and then buying a steady supply of expensive replacement parts and upgrades as things break and as you run up against the limitations. Been there, done that, wouldn't wish it on anybody.
I'm the kind of guy who puts a lot of effort into assembling a quality set of tools for the job
once, and then cherishes them. I've got my priorities sorted:
durability, no leaks, no dry hits, and low-maintenance. Aegis Legend has loads of power and is OG durable. Zeus X has adequate capacity, a satisfactory build deck, is tough, and won't leak in my pocket. Rayon wicking lasts for a 2-4 weeks and doesn't dry hit.
Vladdin RE is compact, durable, doesn't dry hit, doesn't leak in my pocket, and the pods last a couple of weeks. But it's a backup for a reason: low power and small clouds limit satisfaction.
I buy a year's supply of nic at a time and mix juice as needed. My stable performs well and has a low cost of ownership.
I've been posting less lately because it's a source of frustration to me to witness the never-ending parade of weird new high-maintenance products coming out when I've already found the perfect combination. That's not a bad thing, it just means that I don't like window shopping and seeing the wheel reinvented. Call me a bittervet. There's no point lecturing folks about the futility of their decisions. Most of us are only capable of learning the hard way through trial and error.
OP clearly needs an RBA to satisfy his craving, but he's cut himself off at the knees by artificially limiting his selection to pod systems, and condemned himself to the treadmill. Welp, that's his prerogative; I just hope he doesn't fall off before he discovers something worth owning.
