This Joye 510 addy was purchased back in July, and altho it's been in rotation with other attys and cartos, it's the one I took the bridge out of for dripping. It's seen a lot of use, so I guess I shouldn't complain too much, but I can't help but think that if I had kept it off my 5V PT, it might still be going strong. Oh well, RIP little atty. :p

Didn't it taste bad first ????? ( a big warning that you are out of juice)

Yes it did, but I was reading and instead of putting in more juice, I went for another vape and really leaned on the old button. My meter confirms that it is indeed open. When I'm using the 5V PT, I usually just hit the button for about the first second of a four second pull. That heats the vapor plenty to suit me, as I have my lips right on the atty. But, I did get a lot of use out of it, so I'm not crying too much. lol.

What size atty was it? I use my meter to find my highest ohmage. I'm using a 2.8 ohm Joye with 5volts on my variable volt copper mod.

It was a 2.3 ohm standard Joye. I usually use 2.8 ohm E2s on the 5V Pt. and use a 3.7V PT with inline battery on the standard attys. I wanted to direct drip a little today and was too lazy to change PTs. Lesson learned. lol]

edit: If you havn't tried the E2 R4, it should give you about the same as your attys. I ordered the 2.8 ~ 3.0 from Mad Vapes. They test on my meter at 2.8 ohm. On the 5V PT, hitting the button for about one second on a three second drag gives nice warm vapor with no harshness at all. I just remove both plugs and use them like a dripper.
