I had no idea the led would blink three times at the moment one should replace the battery - no one ever said so and an instruction leaflet would have come in handy. Anyway, my battery's now at 3.5 (click the button a few times and you'll see how the battery is). It seems it will be time for a replacement when it reaches about 3.2 or so.

Soooo, wait for this or grab the Infinity? Would really like the 15 watts the Inifinity is capable of, but this one goes half a volt higher, has the display, and is cheaper.

That's a interesting decision you have to make.
If it wasn't for the price I recommend you the Infinity: it's a quite powerful device delivering you the right voltage during the whole battery discharge, I don't think you'll miss the 0.4v to 6. Has no display indeed but the wheel is fantastic and you can change from 5 to 4v instantly just turning it.
But the LT is cheaper, so...

This can do 15 watts at 6v on a 2.4 ohm carto/atty (reaching its 2.5 limit but not going over it)

The infinity has a much shorter battery life.

Just a quick heads up from my volcanowatch 2011

from the volcano forum
Parts Separately :

Lavatube: $69.99

AW High Drain Flat Top 18650 battery: $11.99

Trustfire Battery Charger: $12.99

Lavatube 3.0ohm 510 Atomizer: $7.99

510 Drip Tip: $3.49

Leather Case: $9.99

Batteries and atomizers will be available the same day as the Lavatube kits. The Mod by its self will not be available right away, only as a kit.

They also say the Nov 15th is still a go, however the first shipments will be just the plain black with color options coming in the second wave (third if you count the shipment they gave away to testers). I am assuming the weekly 10% discount code is still in effect so remember if you show up at the volcano chat on Wednesday nights you can get the code saving $10 off the kit...or $6 off the tube when it becomes available separately bringing your price down to $90 for the kit and 63-ish for the tube.
Same one year warranty as everything else has been confirmed.

Wait till December for a chrome one or get a black one right away? Ahh the choices.

What really would be interesting to know is if at the US market only the rebranded lavatube will be available, or if L-riders original will be also available. The second case would be better, then we would see soon lower prices. In China they are available for around 30$. for a complete kit with bats, charger, and attys.

At ECF often coops are done. then shipping comes down to an affordable level, and customs isn´t that bad if you are paying for a 30$ base. Dont know exactly but could be probably done for around 50 $ with shipping included to the end buyer. For the whole kit.

Plus the postage and the most possible dreaded customs. Anyway, it looks as if in most places they'll only be available by December, which isn't to say that far from now really.

I contacted LRider and was told they won't ship it to the US to to contractual agreement with a US Vendor, pretty sure we know who that is. I've also read of one one other vendor contacting them and getting the same reply. I'm sure some will find a way around that sooner or later though, they always do.
