At ECF often coops are done. then shipping comes down to an affordable level, and customs isn´t that bad if you are paying for a 30$ base. Dont know exactly but could be probably done for around 50 $ with shipping included to the end buyer. For the whole kit.
yea but if I can get the tube for 63, well I am willing to pay 13 bucks not to deal with a co-op

This can do 15 watts at 6v on a 2.4 ohm carto/atty (reaching its 2.5 limit but not going over it)

The infinity has a much shorter battery life.

The infinity has a switching power supply, which should give a huge boost to batter life over other 1300 mah devices. It's probably smaller as well. My E-Power is too big as at is (especially the width).

Good point about the watts though, and that settles it -- I'm waiting for this.

Dont buy a tube! If you do so, there is notting exciting to report about. No parts falling apart. No buttons refusing to fire. No atos that wont work. No bats moving around in the tube. No painting of bad quality that rubs off in no time. no mistakes with complicated instructions. and and and....

Dont buy a tube, it just does what it should do, and there is nothing to talk about once you have it.

Translating

3ohm carto at 6 V: displays on voltmeter 5.5V and real voltage is 5.3

dual coil 1.4ohm: under load 3V displays 2.9 at voltmeter and at 6V gives 3.2

510 lr 1.6: at 3 gives 3 and at 6V volt gives 3.6

According to the above video, there is a safety that cuts the amperage down on LR devices, but still dissapointing performance on LR attys and cartos. Also kind of surprised at how much actual voltage is VS reported voltage on the 3 ohm carto. Either the volt meter used is not well calibrated or the digital display on the device itself is off (though it's possible the carto isn't exactly 3 ohm either).

And there's a fall in power as the battery discharges:

with a full charged battery:
510 lr 1.6: at 6V checks in the multimeter 4.1V [2.56A]

previous test, battey used
510 lr 1.6: at 3 gives 3 and at 6V volt gives 3.6

Good. Means I can use my current LR cartos and attys at 4-4.2 volts. Shouldn't the unit cut off when the battery drops to 3.3 volts?

Is it an IMR battery? L-Ion will not give the amps needed for the booster to work, especially when not fresh of the charger.
Any volt booster will need to boost up to 6 volts from let say a battery who has a 3.5 V charge up to 2.5 aditional amps.
A good AW IMR bat is perfectly able to deliver these amps. A 3000 mA rated generic L-Ion bat, probably holding only 2000 mA, at 1.5 C will be able to deliver 3 amps, so any booster based mod, being a provari, or whatsoever cannt boost it up.
