Thank you tmel, good to be back!

Do you use the allen key it comes with or do you buy a better one? just curious.

The hex wrench that comes with the atty is not bad. You can pick up a good metric hex set if you want (a fair few atties use allens, plus Rob's new 510 uses one for adjustment), which I did, or you can cherry pick individual screwdriver-style hex drivers.

I wish I could lay my hands on one of those "universal" hex drivers - they have a tapered bit that fits allens from about .1mm to 5mm.

Just got my clone w/ copper top cap, it has a 2 piece center pin...brass upper, copper threaded screw lower

Don't get me wrong, I didn't want the SS post (lousy conductor)...but I wasn't banking on the threaded "copper" bottom screw, I've ran into this before on the Trident, major PITA to center shot even with the accuracy of using a mill (it's like an M3 thread)...the fact that it's copper just makes it that much more harder to do (drill bit eater).

At any rate, 2 bits later I finally got it...

I have to say. I'm really impressed with the build quality on this clone, I have an original and there are a couple areas where the quality of the authentic is better...but is it $70 better?, imo, no...but who am I to say...

Am i seeing that top cap correctly. It looks like its copper plated. What I am seeing looking down the neck opening looks like its only copper 3/4 of the way down then looks like SS. Is it plated?
