Long story as shot as possible. She's not in the best mind or health. (51 diabetes and high blood pressure....such)

My 2 brothers and I provide for her (and step father) the best we can having families of our own. Navy brother (in CA) bought her a trailer with a military lone. 5 years ago so she can be close to me to look in on. As of 2 pm yesterday it went up in flames killing her dog and cat. She was out of the house for not 20min down the street (on a lowly mountain) at a friends. The fire truck blazing down the street alerted her to the sadness and she ran/drove over to fight firemen to get in the house after her pets. And a 250lb+ woman with a big hart not thinking will win every time. She is resting after smoke inhalation. The men pulling her out. But she is now quiet and distant everything gone. Staring blankly at doctors, in shock they say. Wedding pic and baby cloths, everything a loss, trailer gutted/lost. Red cross is already helping. And my brothers and I will pick up the pieces. But right now she is hurting inside emotionally shut off from the world. Blaming herself for the fire. Uttering my babies? Fire marshal looking into the cause. I'm the only kid in GA to help, but I can't help her hart. So can I get so love and light and prayers sent her way? Thank you PIF family this hurts too much.... not much else I can do for now.

Not wanting to make this request too much, no drama just love.

Update:
My mom is talking now and doing a bit better. Wanting to do everything all at one for now she stays there and she is not looking that too much. Thank every one. I'll keep you posted. still waiting for approval to go over to the house and look at thing myself. though I hear no animal remain have yet to be found. Don't know if that a good sign or not. the damage is extensive... Maybe a 60lb dog broke free and the cat fallowed??? least thats what she is hoping for. As soon as they let me I'll go look for them.

Update 2:
Millions of box fans recalled by Lasko for fire risk - Mar. 24, 2011

Well this fan started the fire. It has been confirmed and papers filled out to join a class action suit.

Humane society has been notified and all mountain neighbors looking or for the animals. A window screen was indeed knocked out and no remains found so everyone is watching for them.

Thank you everyone for the thoughts, prayers and energies sent. Mom is doing much better with her head on her solders at last.

Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I can only imagine how your mom must be feeling. It will take time to recover frome such a total loss but I know my kitties are truely my best friends (other than all the folks here) and you may want to consiter getting her a kitten or pup. They can comfort in ways humans can't sometimes.Only you know if this is a good idea but do think about it.In the meantime my thoughts and prayers are with you all .God bless.
