Just an idea, something to think about - keep the List in Google Documents?? You can set it up for anyone to view and also have a list of people able to edit. I copied the current list into a Google Doc just to see.

Keep in mind I wasn't taking about that group... it would have been a new group. Those responsible (and it must be more than one) for editing the list would be admins. The group would be open to everyone tho.

Not a bad idea Catt. IDK if I want it tracked and indexed by the google monster tho. Something to consider. Maybe some cloud stuff in general. Seems rather much for just a simple list. You'd think within ECF could work... somehow.

Bottom line is that we should have a way for [everone-that-is-supposed-to] to access and maintain the list... just in case someone gets run over by an e-juice truck or something. And it should be in a neutral area. There's probably 100 ways to solve it. But I think kicking around ideas (like google docs) is a good thing.

So...
1) we like the PVT thread the way it is. Fine. Leave it that way. Joker can still link to it.
2) Move the list and discussion out of BWB and into a social group where we can edit stuff

no matter what whis decides i will backtrack substantially because i do not like certain things that happened after whis was put in the bin.

but you guys got whatever time it takes to make a transition. till then i will watch over the list

I agree with Catt and CES and Atty that no matter what happens, we need more people with (limited) moderating tools in order to update the list. I'm sure that Classy or J0ker (whoever is in charge of PreVets) will work with us.

I also feel that if Whiskey decides to step down for good, then it will be up to the new management to decide how things are run.

We will know soon. Luckily, we have the list for June and July all updated and no turnings for 4 days, which gives us a little breathing room.

I"m up! Where...where am I? Forum...Forum Suppliers...Backwoods Brew...Pre-vet Workshop Thread. Jeez...I'm gonna be lost for days.

I just need to know where, what and when. As I told jj yesterday...I'm on here only at work. I do a couple of things and then check in and post. I don't have a lot of time for lengthy tasks. But I do feel I am able to, and have, contribute a lot towards welcoming new Vets.

I don't mean to be one of "those" people(though every group needs one..."follower")but...Whatever all you experts decide...I'm in. Just keep me in the group so I know where, what and when...and I'll be there. Well..unless you all don't want me here then I'll......just......leave....

Just keep me posted and I'll certainly support any decision made. I like the concept of the Pre-Vet and the Welcoming threads. I think people really enjoy being "partied" up for a quality decision they've made in their lives.

I'll never be able to find my way back to this thread.

Aha, I found this thread. Ok, I'm not a member of the PVT anymore, but I do have something to say. Whis and Tib belong there and I hope that they continue to run and maintain PVT, for the sake of the new vets. That's my two cents worth and I will shut up, now.

Fixed it. You (and others) now have room for 100 messages. But that's my limit... really.

If people keep PMing me... I'll turn the dang thing off. This is an open, polite discussion and should be contained in open and polite thread posts. If you do need to PM something, give it thought first and make sure it needs to be sent and that it doesn't contain something that should be part of the public discussion.

Basically, if you can't say it publicly, IDK if it's necessary. With a few possible exceptions. I appreciate, but don't need, pats on the back and stuff. Love you all.
