Never too late to do the rite thing, i v ordered my first ELA yesterday, along with 'its' very interesting industrious atomizer
I don't know many mods with such personality (to say the least) pursuing a so long carreer in the market, and keeping the same appeal to me. I think my first look at the ELA bring me back in the very early days of 2013. Still, and probably more than ever, discretly appreciated (like the P+) when it comes to power a traditional-lathe turned or very short run 'esoteric' british or french genesis ato .. A true classic status, i regard the ELA as a manifesto for mech mods.
I was of course tempted by the titanium version, in these Xmass days when its easier to hide a price tag, to balance the weight/size factor and reinforce the cool industrial (in a way, so american) spirit of the mod and illustrate wath's involved in machining such pieçes. Went to the website to finalize my ELA order, discovering the 'industrious rba' is the kind of surprise i like very much !
I don't regret the choice of the beautiful classic steel, keeping the extra money to try the atomizer + the variety of versions available with parts probably tend to help thinking of a second ELA, with time

Santa came thru with a gorgeous SS Precise ELA V2!!! Such a well-built little machine and those buttery smooth threads!!! Talk about sturdy! Bravo David! Thank you. I'm really pleased with the additions of the flat bottom (think I'll get an OEM spring to try) and the sloped top cap. Works better aesthetically with my topper.

Re the ELA V2. Am wanting to get a smooth accent ring in place of the knurled. (I'm thinking the knurled comes stock). Will the Smooth Bottom Accent Ring listed on the ELA V2 accessories, take the place of the knurled? Also, I'm assuming that the Polished option looks more similar to the ELA V2 tube than the polished?

Are you talking about the locking ring and not the accent ring? The unit comes standard with a knurled locking ring and they come standard with smooth polished accent rings.
Awww... Now I have the language.. The knurled that it came with is locking and yes, I got the accent ring which I assume I might need if I run larger than 18350 batteries? So is there a smooth locking ring to take the place of the knurled if we wish?

Any v1 compression rings on the horizon? I really need 1 but would love about 10. I'm surprised I haven't destroyed one before this. Now I have one aluminum compression ring to share between my satin and polished elas.

What I do have is some V2 Locking rings with the new wider compression band that will fit on your old V1, it leaves a little bit bigger gap, but has increased durability, holding power and better conduction.
Ok. I need a polished and a satin, how do I go about getting them?

Wow! That is an amazing sale!!! I already have a new Precise ELA B2 and a WH can say that they are rock solid, well designed and made mods!! They are my traveling buddies. Wowser!
