Hey, I hope we can still post about any atomizer and not feel like we are being blasphemous speaking about something other than just Super-T. I think that feeling free to post that we use what we like is something we should be grown up enough to be able to do. To a point of course, we dont want to be saying that something is better or selling people on stuff that is not Super-T. ( if it exists :) )

As long as we remember who's house were in it should be fine. We shouldn't discuss other people, or shops that sale the same things as super t though (of course), and keep it respectful. :D

Hey all, quick question to distract us all: I recently bought a mechanical mod in a polished finish (because waiting for the ELA makes me compulsively buy things I'm sure I'll sell/trade when my ELA comes in) and I hate the finish! Its a fingerprint magnet, and while I'm not all that OCD about such things it really stands out and looks bad. Plus, I know any ding or scratch will be glaring -- haven't taken it off my desk, and I'm constantly wiping it down. My problem: I ordered my ELA in the polished finish...has anyone been able to contact Dave and switch finishes? I know the man must be busy as all hell, and the last thing I want to do is distract him, but I feel like if this thing is polished it won't be perfect for me, and I want it to be my all day everyday mod. Anyone care to comment? (And don't suggest I just pre-order another one in satin...because I will...don't tempt me, I'm in a fragile state of hopeless anticipation!)

here's a couple P+ satin and a P+ in polished... i am certainly not into polishing things, but i don't notice fingerprints much anyway, and furthermore it takes a second to wipe it down....
DID on polished P+650
Stratus 19 on satin P+650
Cobra 3mil on satin P+500

I just looked at the OP again... funny video!

What I was looking for was to see if the 24mm diameter would play out all the way down to the button bottom, and it seems so... which is good because if so it will be wider than the P+ ... which is a great mechanical, a little narrow at the button for setting upright ... so IF the ELA button is proportionally wider than the P+, its a good thing. It seems to be...

I'm able to set P+ upright without the button firing, the diameter of the bottom is about 14mm down there, and with genesis atomizer on top, you want to have it upright (or leaning).

The ELA may be a little shorter than the P+ (in whatever batt mode)... just curious about that....

getting closerrrrrrr....

Oh does anyone know about the DNA20?
I would love to try a VW that is regulated and able to take more than 10w... i heard someone say they cranked a DNA up to 16w....
wonder if it would work in an ELA?

From David: "About 21mm at the telescoping section, about 22mm at the main body grip indent section and about 24mm at its widest on the both ends."

And Uke, are you saying you have missed the part about the coming DNA module for the ELA? :)

The DNA20 has a completely different form factor than the Kick. It's designed to be built into a device permanently... Here is a link to the DNA20 data sheet, which should give you a better idea as to what it is...

It's going to be interesting to see what design Dave comes up with for the DNA20 module. Hopefully it will replace the top cap rather than have a 510 connector.

Super T polish is not a fingerprint magnet,Super t satin is a bead blasted finish.Either will show a scratch ,but with the polished(more of a fine brushed) finish,a scratch can be fixed with minimal effort.

Ukeman I have a DNA 20 box mod I made and it's an amazing device. Just for fun I wrapped a 1.5 ohm coil on an Igo l cranked my DNA to 20 watts. Clouds of very rich and flavorful vapor : ) I'm really interested to see what David can come up with as the DNA 20 is not a production friendly chip lol.

Waiting for a dedicated RBA from Super-T, I think the Foggatti T22,
with its three matching stripes, is a winner for the ELA.
To give an idea, here is a quick simulation I've done with Photoshop :
