Congrats first batchers, sounds like ur wait is almost over..

I have a few things i want to order from super t to await my ela on second batch.. Im still on the fence about brass accent rings.. For sure batteries, battery cases (waiting for them to be stocked), felt pouches, extra springs, and im thinking nolax.. How do i use nolax. Just spread a lil on threads only? Is it needed?

Icu, even though I used to use noalox on the bottom threads of my Precise Plus, it's NOT needed. Due to the rhodium contacts and stainlees steel body construction you can actually clean your mod with warm water and mild soap.

The noalox has this rude tendency of gumming up the threads due to foreign outside residue, it's nasty. If anything, just for thread preservation I use a TINY (very tiny) dab of Vaseline on the threads. It works for me. My 2 cents.

Edit---I'm always late

Hidden Vent Detail.

This is the extension tube (top side) and the slide over accent ring (the accent ring is slid down to expose the vent for picture purposes only). Note the double wall with space for the gases to escape, while keeping the vent holes hidden.

Precise ELA Hybrid Adjustable Center Post:

• We wanted to take the ultra-reliable, no leak design of Super-T’s press-in Rhodium over Gold plated center post and make it adjustable. Our innovative Hybrid design does just that!
• Our Hybrid design is unique in that, unlike full-floating/self-adjusting designs, no matter how tight you compress down the sections and center post onto the battery, none of that force will transfer up through the center post to your atomizer which can cause atomizer shorts.
• Atomizer positively seats on the top cap with no play or wobble and the user can adjust the post height and force applied to the atomizer center pin. No more shorting atomizers!

Note the attention to detail with machined in flats that accept a 7/16 or 11mm wrench. Normally, you'll be able to just adjust it with your fingers, but, should it get stuck, it beats the heck out of taking a pliers to your precious mod!

- Super-T ELA: Quality you can see! The ELA's internal finish is of higher quality then most competitors external finish is. Bringing the machining in house will definitely yield big dividends going forward in quality.

Precise ELA's extension tube interior finish VS. a popular competitors extension tube interior:

-Top Cap shown with non-adjustable draw cover for Atomizers, Tanks, Rbas.

Two things to note:

1. Atomizers and tanks get tightened down solidly against the cap and the center post is adjusted up to the atomizer/tank/rba. Makes it rock solid with no wobble!

2. The center slotted section is raised .005 above the surrounding cover for airflow when using tanks, which allows you to still tighten the tank all the way down rock solid, yet maintain airflow and an integrated look.

-Top cap with adjustable draw cover.

Two things to note:

1. The atomizer stays put, it did not move, only the covers were switched from the previous picture.

2. Air enters 360 degrees around the atomizer through the top of the cover. Twist to adjust draw.

Wait a while... David are you saying that the lower detail toward the switch will be a clean surface accent ring minus the horizontal double lines? If so, I really agree with the change its a little busy at the bottom, if I'm mistaken no worries I still like it lol.

Remember those are invoice numbers put out via all the other items sold before , during and after the ELA has been sold. Imagine that there were many, many things like batteries, Precise Plus's, tips, etc. I believe from what I've gathered that there have been about 400? sold?

Its very odd, during this whole ELA production since December, I have told a few people about them and shown the picts to people and most of the people that are not big collectors or dont really know about MODs, love it and think the design is so wonderful.

Some people who regard themselves as "hardcore collectors" and knowledgeable seem to ignore it. Im sure there are a few people that have bought some ELAs out of curiosity and with "flipping" in mind. THen there are many that wait to see if it is accepted by their other " mod " collector buddies.

ANy way, I dont have to impress anyone but myself and "ME" is so anxious to hold it with pride.

Ill be keeping mine, it looks like it will be a good daily battery that has subtle bling. I just bought a Poldiac from MM and it looks pretty but doesn't speak to me as much as this mod. I'd love a caravela one day, but I appreciate what David is doing more by not trying to make ownership like a secret society lol. I hope he sells every ela he plans to produce and continue to make his products readily available.

No, this is only on the top accent ring, not the bottom, the bottom still has the three groves and the top cap still has one groove (patterned after the Shockwave). The top accent ring had two small grooves in it originally, but they have been removed.
