So I got a question. Will the ELA take a crown with the extention tube?? I'd try and search back but that's a task and a half on a phone.

Yes, it will. David states on the crown thread:

I think the Crown (at least as far as Super T devices go) is better suited for the Precise ELA then the Shockwave or P+. Both the Precise and Shockwave were conceived before the Kick or Crown existed. With the Precise ELA though, the tube is infinitely variable and can be properly and accurately compressed down on the Crown. Plus, you can leave the Crown in when changing batteries, no need to remove it!

Note:

You can run the Crown with an 18350 or 18500 battery in the ELA, but if running the crown with an 18650 battery, you will need the optional longer 18650 kick/crown extension tube.

No disrespect intended...Has it? Not sure, but I think possibly you don't even possess it yet. Are you basing your statement on one vid and a couple of pics? looks alone or because you can change your battery in eta 2 seconds? Bottom line it is a telescopic mod that looks nice. I have other high end telescopic mods in my collection that I am willing to bet vapes just as good, and I am assuming the ELA will.

My point is ALOT of us are 'collectors' and that is direct thanks to quality places like SuperT. I hope that the ELA lives up to everyone's expectations. I know I will never sell mine on the open market even if it does not live up to MY expectations. Call me a 'Collector' of reasons to not go back to analogs.

Thanks forcedfuel for a nice piece of artwork, now lets see how she performs.

Dizz, you are absolutely right. I still don't have my ELA. My opinion on it is solely based on the fact that I own Dave's other products. My P+ is the only mod that I kept going back, day after day, after an investment of over $6,000.00 on PVs alone (does that make me a collector, Dizz ?) My reasons for "assuming" that ELA will be the "ONE" for me, in contrast to your high end mods were subtly mentioned in some of my other posts around this sub.

I'm still fighting to figure out what I have written in my post that might have, even slightly, offended you as a collector. My whole post was written in the first person. It's me ! Not you. I'm doing that. You, sir do whatever you want.

First off all great responses to my post earlier. To Nic, Nach and others, maybe I'm being a bit of a realist. I do believe in track record when it comes to quality and I have no doubt that SuperT is bar none.

For the record I have never payed for a mod that was 4k, that was funny :). I really don't buy them for serial numbers and gold plating but in the same sentence I have payed for similarly priced mods as the ELA and have gotten great satisfaction even with hits and misses in quality. I think I am going to be getting great value with the ELA.

I guess I just find it difficult in saying it is the cat's meow before I receive something and test it for myself.

No offence taken nic! I value all your opinions or I would not show up to these forums. Trust me, I have made less than optimum vape purchases off of opinion alone. However, I have never felt more ripped off by buying analogs all those years for reasons that go without words.

We have all waited a long time and for me the proof will be in actually tasting the pudding, so to speak. I am also very sure that there will be people that like/love the ELA and some will have different much less positive views on it.

I hope I am not missunderstood, I am excited to receive mine just as much as you guys. Simply said, I will reserve my over zealous opinion after I have the actual experience.

I think the first mailing was much less than half the first batch of 200, if that. There's still almost 1000 order numbers between the latest shipped and the end of the first batch.

Eagerly awaiting the next bunch to be shipped, my order just barely missed the cutoff for the last shipment. Not that I'm impatient, just eager :D

...I'd also guess he'll get the whole first run out by this week's end.

I agree, Uke. The batch was done. We know that Dave assembles the PVs himself. By now, I don't know if its safe to assume that Willie has control of the 2nd batch production, giving more time for Dave to assemble, and Kevin probably shipping.

I'm just guessing too though. Mere stipulation.
