i'm sure the hoopla has some merit... not sure about the street price/value ratio is for the Chi You, but for the rhodium in ELA vs silver Poldiac contacts, I sold my poldiac as soon as i pre-ordered the ELA.

I think my Poldiac was a week or so old when I ran across this thread and the ELA. Put the Poldiac up for sale the very next day. :)

Wong, to give you an idea on how bad I wanted a telescopic PV from Super-T, I was using battery adaptors on my P+18650, so that I could also use my 18350 batteries in it

Wow, a lot when on while I was asleep. There were conversations about many of the devices I had my eye on till I saw ELA. I hate to have to fight to get something I want. This was so pleasant and easy, yes easy even with the wait. I love that its made here and that Dave is so pleasant, no "soup nazi" attitude.

I like how when you purchase an item from super-T, even just a drip tip, you get an email from David G. Makes you feel special somehow.
Also , you dont see the usual "fanboy, extremists" or the sickening brown nosing.

Super-T speaks for itself and does not "insist upon itself"

Oops now Im gushing. But Im so glad I ran accross this thread way back in December.

V, I have seen so many people, literally, lose their dignity to try to get one or the other. There was a joker that showed up couple of threads ago, pretty much blasting Dave's product (Not you, Dizz) and us only to sign up for another forum, and pretty much BEG for that maker's mod. There's A LOT of hypocrisy around nowadays.

Again though, I really think we should drop this conversation on Dave's house. Sorry.

hehe, naw...I'm a nice guy and one to appreciate quality work, you will see my thoughts on it when I get it. *grin*

Thats the one where the guy didn't like the button.

Yup, but just taking it out of context doesn't make it sound that good, he had nothing but praise for it really. Besides the diameter and the button which was a dealbreaker for him. He wrote a nice review and basically said he would sell everything he owned and just keep the ELA if it wasn't for those two points.

We shouldn't go all fanboyish here and dismiss people for selling it for valid reasons for them, ELA can not be everything for everyone you know... :)

I didn't take any thing out of context.

all right, all is good! It's the internet, easy to take out of context the written word....

On another note, how about them brass accents?!
