:toast:

Now how about those ELA's?

Personally I'm not so conserd about the switch, while I would prefer it to be larger.
I also like that the ELA is so solid it can double as a hammer. :D

I can't say about the switch, as the ELA will be my first supert mod. Its definitely different thats for sure. I like the concept, and as long as its fairly stable, I'm thinking it will be fine for me, as I like bottom firing buttons.

To be honest I have owned two precise plus 18500s and sold both off due to the switch. Then I regretted it immediately. I do prefer a switch that doesn't require special orientation but the ELA has so much going for it that I decided to give it another go.

Mainly the easy locking, lifetime warranty, quality, and now the ability to spin the top tube to orient my wick hole any direction I want before licking it down.

Oh, and the adjustable center pin. Really stoked on that.

There are just so many good things that I decided I could get over the nit picky switch issue.

Now, all that being said...the proof is in the pudding and I still do not have one in hand to really decide it's ultimate fate yet.

I love the adjustable pin! I also love the switch, but not everyone is the same. The button on the p+ to me is one of the best bottom buttons I have ever had.

Some like the streamline effect, and they aren't completely happy unless they have it. With 24mm at the widest, I am sure people are hunting for atties that are that wide. I don't think they are any, but I could be wrong. Though I think some forget that David will eventually come out with the universal after the strata. My question is, what diameter will the universal be?

I really hate a bad button. The Precise button is the main positive about all of my Precise devices. It never fails, it never misfires, is really easy to push, and it never needs to be cleaned (other than a simple wipe-down, and it rarely even needs that). I've owned quite a few other devices over the years, and nothing else is even in the same ballpark IMO.

Aw man, one look at this and I was cursing myself for not ordering brass accents. Decided to go see what I actually ordered and I DID order brass! I'm stoked beyond a words now!

On another note, I've owned many bottom button mods and the only one I have left is my P+18650. The P+ button is just plain trustworthy and fires every time which I couldn't say about the others.

From what ECB is saying above, after you get the atty seated, you can then turn the tube so that you can align the wick however you'd like with the button, and then lock it down. Is this correct, or did I get that totally wrong? If so thats pretty sweet.

You got it right.

As for the switch on my P+, it's not the most comfortable switch there is, but it got to be the most reliable, there is nothing that can fail in it. Lose the spring no problem, still works. And that is worth a lot to me. :)

Yes, that is correct. The sliding tube (and thus the atomizer) can be moved into any position you want before locking (or licking) it down.

I really hate a bad button.

I so agree. My first mod was Trog's screwdriver, and it was great for it's time, but after less than a year the button started to fail. I then went to a Chuck, and that button is so tiny and pointy that it was causing me major pain in my fingers. I have a P18 (not plus) and the button is great, but sometimes causes me finger pain. It isn't an issue with the button itself, just a personal issue with lateral pressure on my fingers. I missed out on the Shockwave, :( and have tried many mods with side buttons, but have had nothing but problems. Two dead Silver Bullets, a Sabre Touch that only fires if I lick my finger. The best side button that I have tried is on the Natural - but the mod itself is cheap, wobbly, and can't screw all the way down with an AW 18650 in it. I'll check out the Simplicity if/when that appears, but for reliability, and build quality Super-T can't be beat, and lateral pressure or no, I have no regrets about my ELA pre-order.

Well, other than that fact that it isn't in my hands yet. ;-)

Personally i am looking forward to the switch on the ELA for the simple fact it can be locked by simply sliding it,and moving away from the spinning locking ring of my Legacy(has a tendency to unscrew the extension tube while unlocking).I have already prept my Terminator-C(DC .8 ohm) and TF Hornet .7 ohm,to break in my ELA upon arrival.

Of course, its a slide/lock vs. threaded tubes that are oriented by where they stop on your battery. Should have caught that upfont.... oops.

The side button that Provape uses is bullet proof....never fails even after years of use..... But you have no idea how nice the Shockwave side button ...Perfection at its finest:)
