How is that Freckle? The DRA XL2 has been reported to work well ..... Made in Germany.... The Oddy works on it ask Anavidfan..... Made in Greece.... I will say that China is putting out a large amount of cloned atties, but every one of them is a slightly tweaked version of something that originated outside of China ;) And yes we do need someone making US made drip attys. I am in the process of saving for the tooling to make my own attys. It will just be a hobby though I don't think I have the patience to make enough to sell lol. Machining all those lil parts over and over again by hand would drive one to madness quite quickly.

Someone else that has an ELA and an immortalizer said the same thing. Hoping my thoughts will change once I get it.

Just my two cents here, we need an american who is willing to build drippers, we have none. We have several americans producing gennies, but not drippers. It is either china, or the philippines that make the majority of drippers. Yes there are few other countries, but not many. I rather support any other country first before china. I only drip. Therefore, if I want to use my ELA, my selection of toppers just got way decreased. If a mod is going to mandate what I can use on top, then please allow me to use something other than a china made product. Right now the ELA seems to be made for china products.

I need to leave this discussion alone, seems as I just talked myself into more reason to sell it.

Get a GTUS. It has a real nice dripper option that works and looks quite good on the ELA. I have seen GTUSs on sale in the classys recently, and I'm sure a WTB add would find you one pretty quick.

I just emailed David, I talked myself right out of the ELA on my last post. Heavy heart here, I didn't want to send that email, but it is sent now. I already have one mod p+18500 with the kicklet cap I can't use my drippers on, I simply don't need another one.

Hoping that he will come out with a dripper that I can use on that kicklet cap. When he does I may re-order the ELA.

I sold off my last Genny last week. Never thought I'd turn into a dripper, but in my opinion you can't get a better taste than freshly wrapped drip atty.

It's the way to go. Dripping can be as clean as you want it all the time with minimal hassle. Having a wick of any sort submerged in how much ever juice for however long kind of grosses me out.

Agreed :D What I really love is wrapping a perfect 0.7 ohm 4 wrap with Bamboo wick, and be back vaping before my buddy is done priming his carto tank lol.

Your not kidding...got rid of my Genny.... I love the HH357 custom attys for driping...not only do they work fantastic but the small form factor they offer cant be beat. They are costly as I replace them every 3 to 4 weeks tops $25..I know some people keep them for months, but theres nothing like a fresh one...

Im looking forward to Davids RBA version though...Want to try a SLR coil....

Im not sure i understand, the ELA will work with any 510 threaded atomizer, RBA, tank, carto etc. If one didnt screw on, we can open the threads a bit, no problem, a few companies have oversized their 510 threads in the past inadvertently, but they usually catch it on later runs. I think the DID's were that way for a bit.

One of my DID's is from the initial pre-order. The other I have may or may not be as well, all I know is that its an original run (before numbered caps). Plus, I used to have an original run Short DID. They all had threaded perfectly on my old P+18500, and now the DID's fit flawlessly on the ELA. Unless of course, you were referring to the china knockoffs...then I wouldn't doubt that their threading is still horrible. :)

Personally, I like it only in the snub nose size. I wish I could send these in to be cut down. But for the sake of beauty, I bought a couple of them when David first put them on the site. Right now my favorite T-tip is the blued velocity snub nose.

BTW, did I ever mention that I would instantly purchase blued accent rings?

I bet you could have sent your Elmo to David to test fit on your ELA. You're giving up a lot.

I sent you an email. All I can say is that all my atties fit in the flat cap that I received on the p+18650 and the p+16340 and the p+10440. They do not work in the kicklet cap that I received on the 18500. So something has changed, I had hoped it wouldn't carry over to the ELA, but from what I hear it has.

Sorry, I'm getting lost in this huge thread, but specifically which atties don't fit in the kicklet cap for you? What doesn't fit about them? They won't thread, or they short out?

I have the same problem with some of my Pinoy attys on some of my American mods specifically my Puff Daddy which will not fit on a Provari or Legacy and am doubting it will fit on my ELA either. What you have to remember is that most of these atty's have been handturned on a lathe and hand threaded as well so some work some don't. And yes my Puff Daddy will thread like butter on any Pinoy mod I had tried it on or own... Go figure lol... I know it looks horrid ,but i've found a shorty 510 to 510 clears up the problem as well.
