I haven't seen anyone mention this to you, but the kayfun will leak on you when there is a substantial change in barometric pressure. May be that it's more drastic down here in texas during the summer but both the lite and ES leak on me regardless of the build when I take it outside.

I'm in the Dallas area and have the tiniest of leaks on my Lite, hardly worth noting. Pretty sure it's the fill screw, gonna throw some teflon tape on it tomorrow. Other than that, it's been an awesome vape so far. Of course I've only had it 24 hours so I'll be sure to keep an eye out for leaks.

Are they're any rumors floating about as to what kind of topper super t might produce? I'd be all in for a genesis style or kayfun style atty. Really don't wanna mess with one that has resistance and non resistance wire but I suppose if that's what they came up with I'd give that a try too.

All that info is highly classified and under wraps at the Gysland Skunk Works facility. I look forward to the day when non-Super-T atty's are off-topic here lol. I also know whatever David comes up with I will buy - silica or genesis, the engineering will trump any preconceived notions/biases I have with either. Spending all this time figuring out "what to get" in the meantime is kind of moot, tiz just a placeholder until the real deal from David arrives :D

I agree that the viscosity of the liquid contributes but I also think that the leaking is a function of the design of the device. It works with some amount of a vacuum and a large enough change in the outside atm pressure will affect that vacuum enough to cause leaking from the air hole.

I think the leaking had to do with the Kayfun Lite not 3.1? Based on my video training (haha), the 3.1 used a fill valve that created a vacuum during the fill intended to prevent leaks, the Lite version did away with that design. COM76's fix was to recreate a vacuum in the tank by using a compressed empty dripper bottle to suck as much air as you could, and that apparently worked for him. I can see how stepping out into 95F temps from a cool 70F AC environment will put any atty through a good "leak test". Two things working against you, your e-juice thins as anavidfan pointed out and any air in your tank will want to expand.

From what I gather, he has several planned. One that I am interested in, he says will not be a gennie, and it will not be a dripper. One with a permanent wick, that you can switch out and use mesh or silica with. What type of material the wick is made from is top secret. It is also suppose to be a feed type atomizer, so that leads me to think some sort of tank. Also the strata has a tank like set up on the drawing. Strata reminds me of a hybrid.

Either way, he has my interest!

Cool! Who's the mole in Gysland Skunk Works? ... someone needs to pull his clearance NOW lol.

Well, given the reply below the wick will not be ceramic. That was my first guess too. I suppose we'll just have to wait and find out.

Reply from David: Ceramic is too brittle in my opinion to be used, not that it might not work, but breaks too easily. Sorry, i can't reveal the wick composition, its proprietary information.

Just gave my brass rings a quick shine. Not a thorough polish, though, but just enough to clean 'em up. They needed a little 'cos the patina was just starting to look downright cruddy

Cape cod cloths are great for everyday or weekly cleaning. Non-abrasive and easy on you as well. Cleans and shines without affecting the surface, though I dont know if they are completely safe on the satin, anyone use them on the Satin finish?

Cape cod with the buffing cloth once a month for heavy duty grime. If you have surface scuffs the Cape Cods will not take those off even with the buffing cloth, at least not for me. If you have scuffs , Autosol with a bit of elbow grease will soften the scratches, but definately not for use on Satin finish, as I heard that Autosol will polish off the media blasted look.

Someone posted somewhere a few days ago that Ebay has a great deal on the larger tin of the cloths, cheaper than on Amazon
