Are they're any rumors floating about as to what kind of topper super t might produce? I'd be all in for a genesis style or kayfun style atty. Really don't wanna mess with one that has resistance and non resistance wire but I suppose if that's what they came up with I'd give that a try too.

It was good of David to send out the final ELA's even though he will have to post out the switch pins again. When i first started reading the update i was "Ow .... no" and then i was "Ow thats nice". I have not gotten the email notice yet. I am pretty sure i am not in the last 5 so should get it soon. Anyone else from Australia order an ELA and know how long it takes? Cant recall the type of posting Super T uses.

Did I miss something? what are switch pins? Enquiring minds want to know:)

Temperature does make a difference if something is going to leak. When the temp rises it makes your liquid more viscous/ thinner so if it can find a way it will. On hot days when I use my Odys, I dont need to open up the juice flow as much.

Only time I get leaks is when I dont tighten my pieces enough, which happens once in a while, but I know right away. I have my stupid hands and sometimes its a real pain.

The only thing I get that some might think annoying is I get so much good vapor and I chain vape so much that I get condensation around the bottom of the tank and on my contacts and around top cap. When you vape there is some leftover vapour that doesnt get inhaled so it goes back down the center pin and out the connection. A very minor thing, but better than dry hits:)

BTW, the ELAs Rhodium contacts are very forgiving with the amount of condensation it can tolerate and keep on going.

I agree that the viscosity of the liquid contributes but I also think that the leaking is a function of the design of the device. It works with some amount of a vacuum and a large enough change in the outside atm pressure will affect that vacuum enough to cause leaking from the air hole.

Awesome, I expect we'll get Cucco's buy-in too! But, there probably is an appropriate flavor for this, something along the lines of fragrant flowers - roses, daffodils etc? That may be problematic for me, at my age thinking more like the aroma of fine brandy in a snifter glass ...
or fine brandy in a snifter glass - cheers baby!

Did I miss something? What am I 'buying-in on'?

Check out Davids latest update on the ELA. It explains it better than i can. Just something about the rhodium pins not being back from his guys yet so he just sent out the next batch without the plating and then will fix us up later for it.

I got lost in the conversation during 'technical difficulties'. I am now back in.

Certainly! I vote for coffee! Coffee after dinner .. coffee after anything! :)

- one, but he rebuilds the same bulb over and over.

- one, but there's a waiting list.

- one, but he's still waiting on the replacement bulb to ship.

- two: one to replace the bulb, and the second to make a YouTube video explaining the process and reviewing the bulb.

From what I gather, he has several planned. One that I am interested in, he says will not be a gennie, and it will not be a dripper. One with a permanent wick, that you can switch out and use mesh or silica with. What type of material the wick is made from is top secret. It is also suppose to be a feed type atomizer, so that leads me to think some sort of tank. Also the strata has a tank like set up on the drawing. Strata reminds me of a hybrid.

Either way, he has my interest!

The ELA sure has a ton of innovation and detail! And all of the innovation and detail is so robust, so well thought out, nothing rigged, everything with a purpose.
I like how the interior deck of the flat top is raised less than a hair's breadth above the surrounding area. The knurled ring is awesome. You have the amazing thinness of the cap cover yet down where the button assembly screws in the walls are as thick as tank armor. This one's really something.

David: -Unique wicking design that utilizes our proprietary wicks that won't need replacing or the user can also use traditional rolled stainless steel mesh wicks.

No mention of silica there Freckle... leads me to think Porous Ceramic, but he wouldn't say it was... possibly a stainless steel thread wick, or some type of lava stone... but either way, it does sound like a Genesis to me - with dual wick capability.
This was a while ago before thread was closed...

I missed it if he mentioned silica...

I believe he said that he wasn't using ceramic cause it was to brittle.

When I read up on stuff, I skip everyone elses post (sorry guys) and only read David's. ha ha

Just remembered there is also another thread, but it wasn't started by David. Don't ask me where, cause I have no clue.

I compared my 3.1 to my friend's Lite, and I actually like the Lite better. My only concern before was the lack of adjustable airflow, but the draw on the Lite is perfect for me (others might feel differently). Once you know how to set up a KF correctly, these no real need for the collector tank. The Lite also measures 8.5mm (about 1/3") shorter than the 3.1, which is a pretty significant difference. The finish also matches the ELA perfectly.

I got my Lite in yesterday - so far, I like it better than my 3.1. It's missing the adjustable draw, but it somehow nailed the perfect draw for me, something that took tons of fiddling to get on the 3.1. I'm going to keep my 3.1, though because the satin finish will match my Shockwave and ELA. I'm using the lite on my caravela (matches the brushed finish very nicely).

Nice to hear, I keep trying to stay away from new atomizers, either because most are described as hitting really hard, which to me means too warm, too much TH. Or they seem to much work to dial in , as far as juice flow/ air etc.

As you all are aware, Im in love with my Odys, yes, they do have what seems like a lot of pieces, but really only once in a while do those parts have to be broken down. I skipped on Ithaka for the main reason that it had so many more things to have to adjust than Ody. Air control, but really Im happy with the air flow I get on Ody. Only reason I would need more would be if I set up lower resistance, hotter set ups, since I like it cool , no need. Bigger ceramic, again I am fine with single coils. Even more pin adjustability, again I knew I was getting ELA, so didnt need it.

I keep seeing the comments on the GG forum and it seems 50/50 , those that used Odys, either love the Ithaka or are finding it leaky, gurgly , and a few other little bugs such as the basic feed etc. Ithaka seems to be geared to lower resistance vaping and those that like to use dual, triple and quad coils.

The Kayfun lite seems more up my stubborn alley.
