Just wondering, are there any other mods using the brass, gold, rhodium plating on their connectors?

All the precise plus mods have rhodium plated gold plated brass contacts. The simplicity has palladium plated brass contacts.

Sounds like a plan... If I recall correctly, you're an EE, so this should be interesting. :D

Yes I'm an EE but my EDC is not really geared in that direction (maybe a little overboard in the flashlight department), ready for the Pepsi Challenge, just chime in and we can go back and forth raising the ante :)

I got two because I am sick of modding $200+ mech mods, pressing the fire button only to have nothing happen and then having to sit down and troubleshoot it, etc, etc.... Although I have never personally owned a Super T product I have vaped on a few for long enough to know that I have made the right choice with the ELA. I always told my friend that if Super T ever made a telescopic mod that I would own at least one. Well David made it and I bought two :D I have since gotten rid of all of the mods that were not gifts or made by myself. I am hopeing to retire the gifts with my ELA's :D

Sometimes finding the right tool for the job can be a long and arduous process, at least you’ve finally found it! I was lucky, a guy with no vaping experience who just happened to stumble upon Super-T and the ELA, no one ever said life was fair!

Definitely possible for a bag with a shoulder strap to be a briefcase. It's all about the design.

Messenger bags vs. briefcases vs. man-purse. These have mostly design differences--i.e. size, functionality, materials, etc. Compare a Filson briefcase to something from Tom Bihn. The twill and leather in the former denotes something practical, authoritative and timeless, while the latter evokes over-the-top, juvenile, and grade-school knapsack.

Obviously this is just my opinion. I just get the same sense between {the briefcase vs. man-purse dialogue} as the {ELA vs. Chi-You/Nemesis/Nzionic/etc. dialogue}. Classic [and restrained] design philosophy vs. unrestrained compartmentalizing (i.e. the more pockets the better).

Seems to me that the ELA is all about "redesigning the wheel", but it strikes me as a product of functional and predominately restrained mentality. I'm sure David could have made this product extremely complicated, but it seems to me he went the simple route here.

Once again, just my opinion.

Hum, pretty compelling case for the “messenger bag” or “briefcase” versus “man purse”. But jasl90 knows the criteria, established by the EDC Global Consortium in 1993, if it has a shoulder strap it’s a man purse. Don't shoot me I'm just the messenger (with the man purse) :D

I'm all about man bags. I picked up a cool Capellino waxed cotton rucksack during my last trip to London. That bag has pretty much sidelined all my other man bags...kinda like how ELA has sidelined all my other mods!!!

The EDC Global Consortium says that a "man bag" is the same as a "duffle bag", and that's not the case here. Believe me, every possible name was considered, the debates were passionate among committee members, the man purse decision was not very popular with many, but the Consortium has spoken and the decision is final, if it has a shoulder strap it’s a man purse.

The reason behind me ordering another Precise ELA

I have spent hours, days, weeks, months, on this and other forums, and whenever somebody likes something, somebody else will always disagree. I got myself all worked up not knowing what to get, and will it be the right size, with the right finish etc

In the end, I decided I wanted to stick with Super T's UK distributor for my gear because I can get quality kit, along with every thing we need to go on top to try out every way possible to get our nic hit. I started with the P+ 18500, and was very happy. I then got my hands on my ELA, even happier.

I then ordered a P+ 10440 direct from David, because the UK distributor was out of stock. ( I think I got one of the last 4 )

So I am no longer going to be searching around the internet for stock of what somebody thinks is the next big game changer, going on lists, F5 etc, to find the holy grail, because for now, I have put my future vaping into the hands of Super T.

Precise + and Precise ELA = the last mods I will ever use, proberbly :toast:

Wanted to buy ..... The Precise Strata Rebuildable Atomizer/Integrated Tank PV, and a shockwave if one should ever come my way :lol:

You and me both, maybe me even more so being a newbie, not easy! For me the ELA is the holy grail, once David’s atomizer is out I’ll be done with it (meaning vape hardware purchases) ... I'll be buried with my ELA, lifetime warranty guarantees it!

Yes and no... I loved the S6 and I miss it! I left it somewhere in Angel Stadium and called their lost and found several times in the hopes it would be turned in.. I'm not sure how I lost it but I did.. BOO!

I am sure when my ELA arrives I will be thrilled with it but man that S6 ROCK'D!!!!!!

The S6 was your high bar for excellence, now go out and buy some platform shoes for the ELA :D

Honestly, I'd probably rent out my ELA before I'd rent out either of my P+'s. I was in the same boat you're in now... Grabbed both the 18650 and 18500 off the classifieds and fell in love. Even now that I have my ELA, they they get more vape time than the ELA... Then again, I'm still coddling the ELA a bit. It'll see more action once it's been dropped a few times and I quit worrying about keeping t pretty.

I also seem to use my p+ mods more so than my ELA, p+18650 is my top runner. Though I have dropped my ELA already quite a bit. I don't own a mod that haven't dropped at least a minimum of a dozen times. These dern super T mods leave dents in my floors, you should see the floor near my desk. Hardly a scratch on any of my mods though.

Obviously not everything shown is in my vape bag at the same time (no need to have 3 meters and 1/2 dozen cutters with me at the same time) but it's all been been in the bag at some point...

It's all just jokes... My tool bag has a shoulder strap. Then again, it's bright orange and black, weighs 9 lbs. empty and says "Klein Tools" on the side... A true man purse! :)

Yes, all fun and games, doesn't matter what you call it, it serves a purpose and that's the bottom line. I guess I'll have to take all my chit out and photo it, stand by ...
